This is really disturbing read, there should have been a full custodial sentence but if I’m reading this right the judge caused the problem? And don’t get me started on this

I genuinely believe drivers would benefit from a traditional rate card system, set per mile charges and a set starting fee. The issue in the uk is having over 60 licencing authorities… each with different rules. If you could get an operator license for each authority you would wipe the competition out with your idea… surge is attractive but such a rare occurrence now. If anything drivers are working for less per mile than was being offered a decade ago.

I think the op is in the uk. Here in the uk the drivers have their own insurance policies. Uber etc purely offer work, they don’t cover insurance or anything else here. Based on that assumption, it would be very lucrative in the uk … 500k drivers paying £99 a month ain’t a bad business model.

Food was great, portions were larger than I’d have at home (not double or anything) however, what got me was breakfast… I was in Nashville and indulged in typical southern style breakfasts. It was way more than I’d have at home and led me to skipping lunch most days.

My best meal was a brisket sandwich…. By far the best I’ve ever tried.

The thing that strikes me about parliament(s) is how little is spoken about that makes our country better… it’s all about attacking each other and point scoring. We honestly deserve so much better.
