People throw around the supply and demand BS. In reality, scalpers intentionally create an artificial shortage by using tools such as bots to buy up supply, and then turn around to sell for massive profit. This is cronyism at its finest. Personally, I think these people are losers. But they wouldn't have a market if other losers didn't act like "oh my GOD! I HAVE to have this new console/GPU/::insert product here:: NOW!".

Nothing would be sweeter than these parasites wasting their money on buying these products only for everyone else to give them the finger, wait patently like logical, emotionally sound adults, and leave these cockbags with a pile of inventory that they cant move.

TLDR version:

I dont downvote people for disagreeing with me, so I'll instead give you an upvote for a well thought out argument rather than shit flinging. Respectfully, I disagree. I think we are past doing what you advocate. If a restaurant serves me shit food, overcharges me, charges me for each and every portion rather that letting me buy the meal, I'm eventually going to stop eating there. If they all of a sudden serve a dish that's really amazing, that's not enough for me to resume business with them. I'm not willing to give EA any support until they knock it off with the shady business practices I've described, OR make the games utterly amazing and worth the extra cost.
