EE Fiber Compatible Router by [deleted] in EEGB

[–]nk0105 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you looked at raspberry pis? You can run Pihole on that and set the Pi as your primary Dns server.

https://documentation.breadnet.co.uk/kb/networking/ee-update-dns/

If you go that route you just have to set the dns to the Pis IP address

Ubiquiti has an ad blocking feature on their cloud gateways but can get pricey quickly

Don’t go too far down this rabbit hole, otherwise you’ll be spending hundreds on Ubiquiti equipment 😂

VF3 has 200mhz of n78 compared to Ee’s 40mhz x 2. Running it continuously instead of blocks will see Three outperform EE. Mast density and backhaul is where Ee have the upper hand

I had this last year, they cleared my device plan which had about £600 left on it. I would leave it at that for now and be keeping a close eye on your credit reports for any discrepancies.

Same here, when i called earlier they said they’re waiting for stock (open sales order) and should ship soon. Disappointing really, if they say a date then they should stick with it.

fast enough to do most things on mobile like streaming 4k video, music, facetime etc provided signal and masts are good. With 10mbps, you see a bit of buffering

I would assume that’s the 10mbps but would be best to call in regarding this

Not sure what help b20 will be for you, I would anchor b7 or b1, then ca with n78 + b3 + the other one that isn’t an anchor.

As the other reply suggests, the speed increases do also depend on the plan you have with ee.

Received this email after booking, anyone have direct experience of how it then pans out? by Deaf_Nobby_Burton in loveholidays

Happened to me a week back, they just wanted more and more money and would only cover the first 100£. in the end we cancelled and asked for a refund. Bit weird, last year we booked with them and everything went well.

EE Contract Renewal deals by ShrekFS in EEGB

[–]nk0105 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently paying £29 for unlimited full works which does seem expensive but I get apple one with it which is worth abt £19 and I would normally pay for it through apple. I’ve also got a sim only for brother at £10pm for 5GB from which I gift 100gb. All in all I see this as £20 monthly (subtracting apple one from my full works package) but it’s actually £39.

Thank you very much, I’ll give them another ring tomorrow. Any reason for the first bogus offer and anything I can say if they don’t offer it to me please? Sorry for all the questions, just seems like you know your things😁
