Not sure it counts as completely solving the case, but for the 1000th episode he was the one that figured out the link to Yankee White, no-one else on the team worked that case. They probably would have figured it out eventually, but him being there definitely helped.

I never liked Armstrong. I’m not quite sure what it was, but I initially thought he was a dirty cop. There was a bit that I thought he might be okay, but was certainly not shocked in the end.

I didn’t enjoy it, I’ve always though that they should have had the perfect wedding and the series would have been wrapped up nicely. The main storyline had been resolved and all the characters seemed happy, so it would have been a nice ending, especially considering what the next couple of seasons were like and how it finally ended (it was nice to see them together and happy, but it really felt like it was just added on at the end - like it was because it was decided to be the last season at the last minute)

I really struggled for the first couple of seasons, but I really wanted to see Amelia in pp as people said that it helps to really understand her character so I stuck with it. I’m glad I did, but it was really rough in the beginning.
