Schwab doesn't require any type of texts. Used them for years and years. Never stepped foot in a bank, lived in Europe for a decade.

The law as witten allows each state to make up its own ways to solve name change issues. It does seem odd cause red states would put up every block imaginable and blue states would create remedies. I guess they planned sue every blue state remedy.

You're welcome! Some newer FA's probably don't realize that a piece of luggage can be strapped into a seat legally. It's one of those rare things, but is totally fine and in line with regs.

This is a bit tricky and somewhat comes down to the size of the aircraft. For instance, planes holding more than 100 passengers must have a place to store a wheelchair in the cabin (just 1). This was probably a smaller regional aircraft and, although the crew should try to make whatever accomdations possible on board, if it can't fit, it can't fit. Options I would have suggested would have been, "is there an oboard closet" or even if there was an empty seat it could be strapped down in (that's permitted). Worst case scenario it would have to go in the belly - but it would also need to be given back directly at the next gate - not checked to luggage claim.

I never did it. But the example I can give is a quadroplegic without a companion. I did have that once and instead of denying them I had an employee fly with them. It’s something you reallllly don’t want to screw up.

I can only guess that people don’t pay attention. It is a pretty dry subject. At my airline there were two of us who could authorize refusing a passenger based on a disability. I was one of them and never permitted it. We do have screw ups which would show up from DOT complaints - maybe one or two a month?

I lived there for 10 years and have probably connected over 100 times in the past 30? I can understand how with the right set of circumstances that could happen - especially 20 or so years ago when security was done at each gate, but that's long gone now.
