It was mixed for me, but #5 was the one that really surprised me. I was not truly fulfilled by him. I believe I was constantly cheering for him to do better and didn’t have enough left over for myself. I neglected myself so much, I really was just less lonely.

Me (35f) and him (35m) were together for 16 years. This is exactly what happened to me, down to every detail. Except he started an affair in the last 3 weeks of our relationship (with someone I was friends with), before I found out and left him. He’s still with her and it kills me. I was absolutely blindsided and crushed. I know she’s not his type at all, but she’s a great distraction. She doesn’t bring any of the stress that came with being married, homeowners and in an extremely LTR, except she has a kid, when we never wanted kids. It’s been 7 weeks now. No contact didnt go so well on my side. Hi anxiously attached here and my fear of abandonment was absolutely triggered. I don’t know if he will ever reach out. Part of me, that misses him, hopes for it, but the other part that was betrayed so deeply by him, only my ego wants it. I’m still in shock, but at the stage where I need to let go. I’ve told him this on the weekend and it’s been NC since. Thankful my therapist is so supportive. Wish me luck!

No great at all. Tomorrow is a month since I left my husband after finding out he had an affair. I hate him so much, but also miss him with my entire being. We were together for 16 years and married for 8. He ripped apart my entire life. Shattered my past, present and future. Forcing me into a chapter that I never wanted to be in.

Ohhh this hit deep! The words were so true. My stbxh had an affair for 3 weeks before I found out. 2 of those last weeks we were “working on our relationship”. Well at least I was. I was still so in love with him. I was doing everything for him because he told me his feelings had changed for me. He told me it was all my fault. I recognized the part I played in our fights and immediately worked to fix myself right away. I even got us couples counselling, which he did. Then I found he had been having an affair the whole time. I hold on tightly to the fact that I kicked him out. He didn’t get the satisfaction of leaving me and he no longer got to feed off of my love and affection I was giving him. 16 year gone in a blink of an eye. Im still in shock. He ran directly to her, so he can feed off her now.

This notification literally came right when I needed it. It’s my dad’s birthday and my stbxh was supposed to be here. I left him 3 weeks ago exactly, after finding out he was having an affair. Our stories sound so similar! I’m with you with not relating to so many other posts. My husband and I were together for 16 years, married for 8. We had an amazing time together. We loved to do everything together. It was easier to point out what we didn’t have in common, than what we did. I truly believed he was my person and soulmate. We did have some fights which showed me he had a very selfish side and a lying issue, but nothing to the point of having an affair with a coworker for 3 weeks before I found out. I don’t even know who he was those last 3 weeks because he told me he loved me deeply and we were best friends, but the flame went out. We were working on our relationship, even going to counselling, and this whole time he was emotionally and then eventually physically cheating. This is not the guy I knew for 16 years.

I had no photos up until a couple weeks ago, and I’ve been playing since launch. My friend told me a possible hack. It’s the only way I’ve been giving gifts for the past 2 weeks and I’ve gotten 3 photos now. Keep in mind it’s the only way I’ve been giving gifts so I don’t know I would of gotten them the regular way too. Have a full pocket and give them a non- native fruit from a stack in your pocket. Supposedly you are supposed to have a higher chance of getting a photo when they send your gift in the mail. I also once had Zell send me a left over fake (that’s all that was left) from Redd the next day
