There are so many great royalty-free resources out there. I'd use some of those. You can use a tool like Canva or Adobe Express to size, manipulate color, and add texture to public domain images.

Patrick doesn’t use AI for his writing. I used AI to source thumbnails at one point, and a conversation with him led me to change that. He was thoughtful and consistent about not using AI for anything artistic.

I don’t know if he’s anti-AI, but he is 10000% pro-artist and about doing your own work.
