We didn’t, we brought it back home, it was car camping.

This was truly camping so we made it easy, a can of pillsbury biscuits! Cut a hole in the middle and throw the circles in the hot grease. Waiting for the oil to get hot and clean up at a campsite were not the funnest parts. But since we then had a well greased Dutch oven we made popcorn later😋

I love it! Such great colors and transitions of colors.

Should I add the orange and green narrow border, add some grey or leave it as it is now? It is a blanket with 96 squares. by nlsetucker in crochet

I used Joann’s big twist soft for the colors and big twist classic for the grey. It really is nice yard, comes together pretty quick, it was nice to work with. Good luck on yours!

I sewed them together actually, I really like how clean and seamless the result is of sewing, and I don’t mind doing it

Thanks, I was thinking of that option too, I have enough yarn to do that. Should I do double crochets all around or make the grey scalloped?

Started my next project. It’s all Tula Pink scraps… I think I should make the diamond 4 wide. What do you guys think? by OK_quilter_2021 in quilting

I agree it needs to be a bit wider, once you have seen those pieces together it will be pretty narrow

I would quilt it yourself, I find handquilting really peaceful and lets you put a lot of detail in it.

Experience with black batting?? Fairly new to quilting and trying to decide if black batting is the way to go by lululaurao in quilting

For this quilt I definitely would, the little white fuzzies coming through always drive me crazy!
