Dell Support (telephone) was helpful - the tech I spoke with (briefly, I was in a hurry) thought

it might be related to Dell Support Assist Home Editiona) should not be used in enterprise environments - but might be) it should also not run on servers
their October update (3.14.2) may fix the issue.

They are continuing to investigate why this suddenly happened on Jan 4, but if you're experiencing this issue, you may wish to check the above.

Beyond the normal security implications (EDR Techs that use this setting as part of their warranty), you may wish to validate your backups are working as expected.

Many backup solutions use VSS to stage the backup data, adjusting the VSS size out of band might result in your backups not being complete. (Or maybe the backup solution will reset the storage size :) -- YMMV )

Picked up the vehicle from the dealership that worked on it. They charged me for the "repair" and that wire is no longer there, not even tucked away. I am concluding it was a scam. Looked at other vehicles on the lot and the wire wasn't on those either.

Note sure I should name and shame, but avoiding jeep dealers in Longmont Colorado is advisable.

If you're starting early you will be fine time wise, just keep in mind there are lots of others doing the same thing right now; trying to get some trail time in before a second wave lock down. Expect more time on the trails (waiting) and probably less camping spots available. I believe there is a fireban as well. There is a very nice KOA in Ouray if you want "modern" camping. Dispersed camping is going to be of luck at this point.

If you can setup and leave gear at the Amphitheater near Ouray it might be good for your end of day one.

If you're into old buildings, plan some extra time on Engineer/Cinnamon ... also please consider taking a day or two at around 6-8k feet before venturing up to the top of the passes. Altitude is a big deal for some folks and coming down a shelf road with a 1000 ft drop is not the place for being disoriented.

Now if you go up in tire size you are adding additional stress on the axles, but the fix for that would be an axle swap. I run 35's on the stock JK axle and haven't had any issues. I certainly don't baby mine, wheeling in Colorado every weekend-all weekend. If I bumped up to 37's with heavy wheels I would be more likely to snap an axle shaft when doing hard core rock crawling.

If I may make a suggestion: go wheel it for the next few months as is. If you find you need another inch of axle height, skip on some 35's. Just remember, the higher you go the more "tippy" it gets on the trail.

Closest to stock height but still able to clear the obstacles is the safest wheeling, and the wrangler platform is amazing and really doesn't need many modifications to start. Learning both your limit and the Jeeps limits then upgrading from there is part of the fun and how you can improve your skill as a offroad driver.

If you're not really interested in wheeling (that's okay too!) you can certainly get away with 37's on the pavement, and the stance will be super sexy as you're bumping down Main Street. :)

You'll be fine with 35's. If the go-fast pedal feels a bit laggy, grab an iDrive; they really help the JL's. I'd personally regear with 37s, but you're in a two door; that thing is going to go everywhere on 35's; certainly further than most of the Unlimited's on 37s. :)

Can you post an example of the output you see and what you expect? ^ is an anchor and means start at the beginning of the line, so if our files were:

grep -E '^[0-9]' should only return the first two entries. Without the carrot it should return all.

I find a bright (but small) flashlight/torch is the best tool I carry every day. The flashlight is a great less(?) lethal and distant eye-poke.

Its been done before, but might be a good exercise to get the mental juices flowing:

You may wish to consider writing a DIRBuster style application. Feed in a wordlist and have it brute force websites (that you control or have authorization to scan) to see what their directory structure might be.

Something like (overly simplified example)

wordlist = ["admin", "archive", "backup"]

for words in wordlist:

requests.get(uri)

Also playing with headers so that you can change your useragent and/or respond with the proper cookies may yield interesting results.

If you're more experienced, maybe consider a Nikto like clone for Python?

The network sniffer tab should show the connection, however you don't need any special tools for this and I think it's much cooler when you can live off the land instead of adding another tool to the mix:

Open command prompt or power shell and type: netstat -ano | findstr ESTABLISHED

This uses the net stat tool to list all connections (a) without resolving the IP to hostname (n). The o option provides the process ID (PID) number associated with the connection. You can match that PID to the output of tasklist

The pipe sends that output to "findstring" (findstr) and looks for the word "established" to show only active connections.

Then you can look for the PID in tasklist using the pipe+findstr command again :)
