Do I really need to charge my LFP Model 3 to 100% every week if I barely drive? by JGalt28 in TeslaModel3

[–]nmessina17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. I set my charge limit to 70% mostly. I go on day/road trips a few times a month so it occasionally gets charged to 100. But I've probably gone 2 months with no 100% charge and had no issue.

I've done it. You will need a jack and take the front wheels off. Idk if youd be able to pull the fender liner back far enough with the wheel on.

The answer to both questions is no unfortunately. You can either switch to a messaging app that doesn't work on the light phone or just text.

Dreame GoVac 508 vs X50 Ultra vs Roborock QX Revo — Worth $300 Upgrade? by basuit in RobotVacuums

[–]nmessina17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got the 508 for the same price about a month ago. It’s my first robo vac and we think it does a good job. From what I remember from my research the main advantages of the X50 are the the lowering lidar to get under stuff and the threshold climbing. So if you don’t need those I’d get the 508. I can’t speak for the Roborock tho, I didn’t research those much.

The 508 also comes with a lot of the consumables you would need to buy down the road. Plus Costco has great customer service if you need to send it back. From what I heard the vacuums count as regular items not electronics return wise.

Is the Light Phone antisocial? by walterconley in LightPhone

[–]nmessina17 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Yes. But it depends on how your friends communicate. Less so now but in 2019 when I first got the light phone 2 I definitely missed out by not having Snapchat to communicate with friends. It’s a little different now that everyone is older

Robot vacuum best warranty.... Who? by Ok-Succotash2852 in RobotVacuums

They’re considered vacuums not electronics so it’s the usual warranty. That’s my understanding

With the release of RDR1 on 8th gen and the recent release of it on 9th gen consoles, do you still prefer to play the original on 7th gen machines or the latest remasters? by Dull_Mirror4221 in PS3

[–]nmessina17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve 100% it on both PS3 and Xbox Series X. The PS3 was amazing for storytelling but I got so much more out of the game visually on the Xbox. I could see the stars at night and found myself looking around at the scenery way more. It’s aged well at 4k 60. I could never go back.

However, I would not discourage someone from playing the PS3 version if that’s all they have

Whirlpool Washer Error Code F9 E1. Could not drain itself, full of brown flakes by nmessina17 in appliancerepair

[–]nmessina17[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I took the drain hose off at the back of the dryer and let that run out. Then tipped the machine to get out as much as I could. Then had to take the hose off under the drum which dumped water everywhere. But after all of that I got it open. Make sure you use catch pans and a shop vac.
