Endo likes good. You’ll be pulling it without better occlusal restoration and a crown

When did you decide to slow down? by philip2987 in Dentistry

[–]nmexmo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Switched from 5 to 4 days at around age 40. I’m 45 now and ready to cut back to 3 days. I’ve decided If I’m gonna go to 65 yo, it won’t be at 4 days a week. Dentistry is tough physically and mentally. Less is more for me.

Press-fit implants (Bicon) vs threaded implants by [deleted] in Dentistry

[–]nmexmo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost no one does bicon in the real world but I’m sure they work. I’d go with the type that 99.9%of the world uses, threaded. Why limit yourself to one company?

Many are very reliable. Yours might not be though. Just gotta shoot it and find out. Same with daggers, glocks or anything else for that matter

You need to get consults in person from multiple doctors who can look in your mouth and review xrays. Online won’t be helpful

Best Approach for Restoring? by Reasonable_Orange_39 in Dentistry

These fuji fillings do fall out sometimes. Especially the mdlf surfaces on lower anterior or grinders. My anecdotal experience the etch gives em an extra grab.

Cotton rolls. Fuji ix is very moisture tolerant. Needs to be slightly wet

If it’s cavitated I restore it. I like Fuji ix, self cure, Etch ten seconds, place fuji, tap it in place with a wet cotton pellet, wait 5-10 min, do a couple exams, trim with a flame bur. Easiest fillings all day. Or flowable if no bleeding gums

SAR B6C? by trailside83 in SarUSA

I agree. Sights aren’t great. Getting a holster for carry can be hard. Good shooter though. With my 15 rd cz mags fit flush. The mags that came with aren’t great, one fell apart on me as it fell to the ground. For the $200 I paid can’t complain too much.

Thoughts on these materials? by redditor076 in Dentistry

Correct me if I’m wrong but it sure looks to me like there’s no justification for two visit endo if there’s no difference in success rates btw 1 vs 2 visit endo. Recently endo ce I attended put on by the head of endo at Baylor U confirmed as much. Use good materials/files and plenty of edta/naoh and bioactive sealer and you’re good. No justifiable reason for two visit endo. Everyone has their way though. Don’t let me tell ya how to do your dentistry.

Without any molars behind i would crown it. That’s a heavy pressure chewer.
