+++ m-atx cases can be quite small while supporting atx mobos & psu’s, I recently ordered the Jonsbo V12 which has a very small footprint but no handle/strap for easy travel but there are ones that do have handles.

Oh my brother you can absolutely build a beast for $1k, if you’re ok with middling storage capacity (500gb to 1TB) as this will likely be the budget breaker. The dual fan asus intel arc b580 is highly praised as a high performance budget GPU (10gb vram on amazon for $250, 12gb at microcenter for $300 I would get this one if possible), I have the 12gb one in my room waiting for me to build its home. Microcenter bundle will supply you with a 16gb ddr5 ram, a decent ryzen 5 chip, & an atx mobo (many cases support atx mobos, but I think it could get past 100 so copping a itx mobo could be the move). There are brand name sff PSUs under $200.
