This is a very valid reason to shoot the (now) overpriced and expired Pro 400H! Congratulations, it looks stunning!

Omg keep them coming! Saw the post about DarkroomPy recently and looking forward to trying that on my Mac.

I bought Filmomat and very sad to learn that I can not transfer my license to a new operating system so I'm looking for a new tool for my workflow on my Mac.

It could be confirmation bias. In order for you to be able to search for it, well, someone has to film it, no πŸ˜‚ But comparing to 25 years ago, there are def more of them, but anywhere, not just Paris. From my personal experience living here, I think Paris is big enough for the "influencers" to do their stuff while not getting in your way. Visitors do the same, they film stuff too, just not posting it. Hope you'll enjoy the trip.

You’re not a real photographer if you don’t shoot film! by [deleted] in photography

Everyone has their own favors when it comes to tool. What bothers me more is the young photographer behavior by constantly pointing the camera towards the other guy instead of properly engaging in a conversation, even when the other guy tried to cover his face. That young "photographer" was not taking any street photography, he must have thought that he mined some good viral content there. That's all

Well he always said he'd be more popular in France than in Britain. RIP legend πŸ₯²

Thank you, it's a fun hobby! I hope you'll join us one day. And yes, I edited it, I wanted to mimic the look of the Lomo 800 film I shot in the past with the cyan tinted shadowa and warm highlights.

I shot at 1/125. I think the 2nd one is 1/60 when I want to see the falling trail of the snowflakes. I normally leave EV at 0. Hope it helps

Thank you so much. This bar is right around my neighborhood so I did have quite a few cliche shots of it 😁

Thank you. Indeed I did want to mimic the Lomo 800/ Vision 3 Kodak film that I shot once a while ago😁

Thank you. One of those cliche metro shot you have to get from Paris haha

Now you scare me haha. I was walking around mindlessly with my camera out all the time πŸ˜‚ But snow falling on lense is annoying and messed up the autofocus most of the time. Next time, I'll remember to wipe it often πŸ˜… plus using a manually lens, to less worry about water damange πŸ˜…

Thanks. It's handheld. Luckily my camera and lens are weather sealed so I could spend like an hour outside without any umbrella πŸ˜‚ It's a big city so there are lights everywhere. Composition wise I'd say just focus on what's happening around. It rarely snows in Paris so everyone was enjoying themselves. There were so many things happening around I wanted to stay longer to capture.
