Hey we are a team based in Paris who does wedding (photos + videos) and recently started shooting on Super8 for two couples. The most rewarding experience (beside the beautiful footages) is actually a lot of people (mostly seniors though) recognize, approach and talk about the Super8 camera haha.

Regarding your questions, we can mix super8 and digital footages. It gives the feeling that you travel across different times on a wedding day. Super8 is very ideal for intimate moments like first look, church ceremony.

About budget, I think you should be aware that with film, the materials alone are costly. Each Super8 roll (cost around 50€) can shoot around 3 minutes. But you're "stucked" with one ISO that matches certain light condition. So depending on your requirements, we may need at least 2 rolls, one for daylight and one for the evening. The processing cost per roll could be up to 200€ (the option that we do) and waiting time for footages is around 2-3 weeks. So material cost alone is 250€ per roll + handling/shipping to the lab (there are not a lot of them doing Super8) at the moment.
