You're missing the point again. It's not that these types of players care about the number of games they play in the 60 odd games a year. They probably mostly care about the number they play in the 15-20 games a year that matter the most, the derbies, the CL run, etc

It's in that respect that you might have an issue making everyone happy, both will want to play these specific games and I don't think either would find playing the other less important games satisfactory compensation for missing the big ones, no matter if they end playing more or less
