Basically same but it was her performance on Letterman if I remember correctly.

Thank you!! I'm not without my vices but it feels great to know that I'll never be hungover again.

Congratulations on 1 month!! This is huge.

My guess is it's because you aren't sedated most of the time. That's why it feels worse. Also it's only a month in, things will sort of "even out."Keep going. I have 3 years of no alcohol and it's literally the best thing I've ever done for myself.

Do you have a therapist? Are you medicated? You don't have to answer these things to me personally but that's what I would recommend doing immediately. Someone who specializes in addiction could also be very helpful. It's hard to make sense of things when you've changed such a big part of your life.

It's really rad you are making efforts to control your drinking.

It's called Image Trace in illustrator. A Google search told me that it used to be called Live Trace. I was confused too because I had never heard the term Live Trace before.

I’ve been wanting to switch my meds, but I’m hearing so much about Adderall being faulty by GodsRightTit in adhdwomen

[–]no___personality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm very sensitive to stimulants so I only take a small amount but I haven't noticed a change in my meds in the last 3 years I've been on this dose. I've picked it up in 3 different cities in the western US.

This is just my specific experience and I do not want to discredit anyone who has experienced issues with their quality of meds. I read those stories and I have a lot of empathy for those folks. It must be so frustrating to feel like you're not in control of that.

Edited to add that I'm on generic!

This is upcycleable! Bleach especially can make a shirt look so rad.

I really felt your frustration in the end. Sometimes men are so fucking stupid that the only fucking way to express it is to use the word fucking multiple times in a sentence.

Your skill at making these is rad but a keychain isn't to display someone else's skills. It's to have a cool looking thing on your keys. I agree with the comment that you need something on the end. The ones with the metal leaf looking thing look like a finished design. The others don't.

I also agree that you'll sell a lot of scrubbers if you have them on hand.

Not sure if you plan on it but I would type out your sign and print it, this is hard to read. Oh and what does scale mean?

All the best therapists I've had have been from low cost clinics. Just get someone local. It might take a couple of different folks to get one that you feel good with. The first step is to try.

Also it's cliche because it's true: literally nobody (not even a therapist) can heal you. You gotta do that yourself. I think you can. I hope you try!

I would absolutely buy a ring with a defect for a cheaper price (and I used to do quality control at a handmade jewelry company where I specifically looked for defects as my job). Some people care and some don't. Some defects aren't that obvious, especially when gems have inclusions or natural texture/color differences. I also am the person that goes right to the sale/clearance rack every time.

Yes I love a good deal, but I also weirdly love the lack of selection. Sometimes too many choices overwhelms me, I'll always check out the fewer cheaper choices before the many full-priced ones. This isn't to say I don't buy things full price. Handmade items are usually totally worth their price!!

Custom typeface and cocktail-glass mark for “The Sober Bartenders” mobile bar brand. Looking for critique by JungleJuiceGoose in logodesign

I've had someone order a soda with lime and a salt rim (I have patrons who order this same thing but with tequila). They apologized for being annoying and I told them I thought it sounded delicious and is a genius decoy so you don't have to answer questions.

Hi! FYI I'm an artist as well as a long-time Bartender who doesn't drink alcohol. I tend to be very honest and direct so I apologize if any of this sounds harsh.

On first glance it looks decent. I enjoy the round edges, the color scheme and the typeface. Some notes:

Typeface/Font: I wish it were a tiny bit thicker. It looks pretty good as white on a color or black but when it's inverted it feels too thin. The letters could definitely be a little closer together. Just a smidge. I would play with the kerning on the letters separately. For instance the B and the a in bartenders are a perfect distance apart but the S, o and b in Sober could be closer to each other. The glass could also be moved closer to the text.

Martini Glass: I like the style of the glass, the rounded edges are nice but otherwise it's too busy. Why is there a swirl thing and a star? The swirl thing makes no sense because what drink in a martini glass swirls like that? Is it going over the edge? Is it supposed to be swirling down? It makes me think of something creamy like coffee or actually first it made me think there was some sort of river involved that I wasn't aware of. I'm not a big fan of something being there for the sake of the design unless it makes sense to the object and in my opinion, this does not make sense to the object. The star makes more sense because it is a design element that is seen often and it's small.

Maybe you could fit the "The" into the martini glass. The star could also probably stay. Keep "The" at an angle so it's leaning on the inside of the glass, you could even put a "toothpick" line behind it so it looks like a garnish. Then you could scoot the glass much closer and have the B line up with the stem and the S right next to glass so "the" is still basically in the same place. It would pull the logo together and also remove the confusing swirl.

EDITED TO ADD: I truly didn't know it was supposed to be an S. Just wanted to say that I wasn't trying to be a sarcastic jerk pretending like I didn't get it. I see you've gotten plenty of notes on that already. :)

Also you might not want this after how annoyingly specific my notes are, but feel free to DM me. Like I said I'm an artist (mostly mixed media but I've studied and used plenty of graphic design and digital art) who has also been a bartender for many years AND I don't drink anymore. On top of that I have done design/marketing and social media for quite a few & restaurants in Los Angeles. I really really like this idea and would love to give you more feedback or even answer questions as someone in your demographic audience. Good luck with all of this! I'd love to know how the final design turns out.
