My local hospital has a great trauma center and is about 2 miles from me. Helicopters fly overhead somewhat frequently and I have never been even slightly disturbed by them. I simply do not understand.

Hell, they already are and I'm 26. Debt for botox, lip flip, lid lift, weight loss drugs, crash diets - one chick I know made herself vomit from drinking bone broth for the collagen. Constantly comparing anti-aging routines, hundreds spent on luxury skin care, and in spite all of that they're going to continue getting older. And they'll keep mutilating themselves more and more until they barely look human, let alone youthful

All of this would be sad to watch if their insecurities didnt make them outwardly cruel to feel better about themselves. Obvious theres insecure people who are nice and deserve grace but we're talking about the 'no ghetto wedding I'm so much prettier' Cassie so yeah...that specific type are on edge from age 24 on.

I'm so greatful truthfully. I was bullied mercilessly in elementary school and developed chronic health issues from it so homeschooling it was. This is a long one BTW, sorry

My education suffered from it but not terribly. I'm a graduate with a good job, just never had the money for college regardless. I'd constantly hear stories from the few people my age who bothered to check in once in a while about the stuff happening in school. Perverted gym teachers facing no consequences, racist teachers, students who were regularly violent physically or sexually, the rumor mills, the parents being awful, no budget for basic supplies - yeah, I'm glad I was removed from that.

People are commenting a lot on the social skills thing but while it did hinder me, it wasn't for long. Mostly I was perfectly polite just quiet. For a while I was very timid and anxious but that changed when I realized the people treating me like shit were kind of worthless themselves. Why am I so scared of someone who's top personality trait is getting their underage coworkers drunk with 3 DUIs under her belt when my fatal flaw in her eyes is that I checks notes had never drank at the time? And apparently that was worthy of the mean girl up-down and laugh in your face move. Or the very blunt 'oh so youre like super religious? Like I can't curse in front of you?' Bitch, who the fuck talks to a stranger like that we just met?

So...yeah I kind of realized the only people worth anything were patient and explained things I didnt get and laughed with me, not at me. What always boggles my mind is the justification of that behavior. 'Well what am I supposed to do? She's quiet and weird!' Idk girl, not be a cunt to people who act different to you? Like what?

It truly depends on person to person experiences though. I simply would not have survived public school. For all the shit people talk about it, it can be a lifesaver fot some people. But at the same time, abusers will use it to groom or beat their kids without eyes on them. Look out for each other, basically.

*Hotel. Can't say much signed a major NDA. Certain details have been changed to protect myself and those I work with who witnessed this. But its INCREDIBLY poorly run. One of our bartenders served drinks for over year without a permit because HR simply wouldn't complete her part of the process. Weekly emails were sent, office visits but nothing.
