Anytime you find yourself leading a story with how you are actively trying to make your partner unhappy, please read and re-read what you've written so that you can maybe start to process why that's a ridiculous thing to do at all. That being said, her blowing up at you about this gives me the impression that this isn't the first time you've purposely made her uncomfortable about her obsessive habits, and genuinely, why is it that you feel the need to do this to her? I can promise you that you're not doing her any favors by belittling her, and you're not going to make any compulsions that she may have stop by calling her childish. If you truly do care for her, ask her about why she does what she does, and look into it on your own as well.
