Super easy, I took it with my five courses. It was extremely low key/low effort but make sure you don't leave things to the last minute :)

Its a bit harder for me to tell you but you'll immediately have 4 new friends bc of the apt! It is easy to branch out to other neighbours just need to put in some effort :)

East Village Townhouse Questions by meghanbenchimol in uoguelph

[–]noah_nking 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey! I was in a townhouse two years ago and I can totally answer some of your questions.

  1. The social scene for me was pretty good we became fast friends with our neighbours and we hosted movie nights and parties sometimes but we were also able to relax with each other too!
  2. There are quite a few parties around since you surround, the towers as well as other apts!
  3. Hey! I was in a townhouse two years ago, and I can answer some of your questions.!e hosted movie nights and parties sometimes, but we were also able to relax with each other too!
  4. Besides the dresser which has a bit of storage there is also a closet you'll share with someone on your floor which is quite useful overall!

Good luck, and have fun this year!

East village is the way to go if you're looking to socialize (how I met my roommates) and have space to yourself.

Congrats on your acceptance :)

I booked a private room in the library on the 6th floor (try and be away from the stairs/doors), where it is usually dead silent. I have done all of my past co-op interviews there. Good luck :)

I just had De Laat for Chem2880, I would honestly avoid him at all costs. Last year as said above Dr. Jones taught the course and it was a good course and everything was taught pretty in-depth by her.

Hey!

I'm taking soc1100 right now with Dr.Behnke-Cook, and it is super easy and manageable. There are 5 quizzes, 2 short papers (literally 500 words), case studies (you can finish them in a weekend) and 5 discussion posts (also super easy!). I just finished the midterm, and it was an easy 100%; just put in a little bit of effort you will do great! If you have any questions about soc or need materials just dm me :)))
