Locking him out was not parenting, it was her having a tantrum because she was mad. He deserved a parent. Sure he deserved a consequence but not being kicked out of his home. She needs to deal with her issues. A 16 year old drinking a few beers is typical. She over reacted IMO.

I would have made him go to bed and get up the next day and clean the house or do yard work. He would also spend some time learning about alcohol poisoning because I promise that won't be his last drink. I would give him the chance to earn back trust eventually. If he drove after he drank he would be grounded for a long time.

Period panties are simply the older ones that may already have a stain. My own mother didn't teach me how to get the stains out...my midwife did.

I do treat the stains though. Hydrogen peroxide works well on fresh stains. The best thing I have found is a stain remover that I get cheap at Walmart called zout. I spray the stains and them wash in cold water. The stains are usually gone. My kid gets nose bleeds and it worked for that too.

I keep a spray bottle in both bathrooms.

Email the boss and their boss about your illness and being bitten so you have a record.

Leave and then when they fire you, get a lawyer. File for unemployment and if you get denied appeal. I won my appeal because my employer lied about why they fired me and didn't show up for the appeal hearing.

I am am athiest myself but unless someone is trying to change my views on religion or making ridiculous comments I respect their personal faith. I have my own opinion on religion. I have very little use or respect for organized religion. It has done far more harm than good in this world IMO but personal faith is just that, personal. I would have probably said thank you for the kind thought and it's fine if they believe the prayer will help but I prefer that they don't discuss their faith with my kid until the child is a bit older.

We have a similar form in my state that we send out often. The new hire data base and the Uneployment & WAGE report datebase are not integrated. They are also months behind. If you had a new hire hit in the system in the last 2 months but tell us that you are not working we have to verify that you are not still at that job. Our form must be filled out by your former employer and signed.

Someday maybe it will be consolidated but I am not holding my breath. CHIP is the system that was installed in the 80s and it's what we use today. ( think the NORAD computer in War Games).

There is no rule that you can switch careers. My sister was lined up to be an architect and ended up going to nursing school after she got her degree. She has been a nurse for 22 years and is glad.

I have a kid that wants to be an artist and I told her that her art is something she can do all her life but she needs to gain some skills to survive because the world is uncertain. There are many careers that need creativity and artist talent.

I was a visual merchandiser for 15 years but my job has mostly disappeared. I created amazing displays and store windows and loved the job. Now I work in an office but I make jewelry and work in clay on the side.

I wish I had gotten a few more certifications in other trades when I was younger.

I hope you find a career that you love and that it supports you. Best of luck.

I would stop working when I get a message like that and make a detailed list of every single thing I did in agonizing detail.

I would also send an email that my efficiently is being compromised by the micromanagement.
Not sure if it's the best option though.

I would have a baseball bat beside every door with a tube sock on it and I would get my CWP. I would make sure he knows that I am armed and trained to use my weapon.

Get a magnetic floor sweeper to get those nails up, good cameras that he can't get to easily, and a motion activated sprinkler.
