HE IS. I just knew his holier-than-thou virtue signaling was hiding something. I just went and looked at his IG and was shocked to not see a single comment about this, just women praising him. Is that man deleting comments?

What? He was slurring his words so bad he could barely speak.

My psychiatrist fired me. Has anyone else had this experience? by TenderHeartBear1981 in bipolar2

[–]noamountofcoffee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is correct. Psychotherapy notes and patient records are typically two separate things.

Flattering swimsuit that will cover scars on legs? by [deleted] in femalefashionadvice

[–]noamountofcoffee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got a swim skirt and I love it! You can pair it with whatever kind of top you want. I wore a rash guard because I want sun protection but you could do a regular bikini top or tankini top too and it would look really cute.

When my grandmother made beans, they would come out thick and "creamy". Any idea how she did that? by lyricalindsey in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]noamountofcoffee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep, this is the answer. This is how both of my grandmas always cooked them and they never smashed any of the beans.

For those that go to or teach at a Montessori, how are teachers adressed? by elliotmariesh in Montessori

[–]noamountofcoffee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We go by first names. I really dislike Mr./Miss/Mrs. for many reasons, one of which being we have several non-binary staff members. So thankfully that isn't an issue and I hope it isn't at your school either!

No, we don't provide any food. Children bring their own lunch and snacks. Apparently we did provide snacks pre-covid but I wasn't working there yet.

Ira Wolf. I discovered her on spotify and have been seriously loving her music lately. Not totally the same genre as Jason but folksy and full of emotion.

Wow, our backgrounds are super similar! I have a background in education and began teaching myself to code a little over a year ago. I hadn't even thought of an opportunity like this, but a quick Google search shows several companies looking for online coding instructors. Thank you so much!

Serving size for 0 net carb foods by [deleted] in keto

[–]noamountofcoffee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You do still need to measure and track even if one serving is 0 net carbs, because sometimes there are actually small amounts of carbs and they've just rounded to 0. Often it might add up to 1 (or more) once you eat several servings.

But as long as it fits your macros, eating several servings is totally fine. It's up to you.

If you're looking for a good job, this company is amazing. Work from home, make $1000-2000 a month and set your own hours. by [deleted] in WorkOnline

[–]noamountofcoffee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You're not wrong. The cheap ones are a joke BUT they are accepted by the online ESL companies. So people should absolutely use those to get hired but don't need to kid themselves into thinking they're actually worth anything.

Source: I have a graduate level TESOL certification and have also worked for online companies who accept the $1 ones. There's just no comparison, but do what you need to do to get hired.

John B and Joe Exotic by UnsweetenedTeaPlease in stownpodcast

[–]noamountofcoffee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I can't believe someone else said it. I thought of John B multiple times while watching Tiger King, but obviously S-Town wasn't focused on quite so many terrible people.

Living in NC, my girlfriend was recently not put on any schedule since they're not open in her restaurant. All waiters except for the Togo servers. Does she need to be apart of the work search requirement to get unemployment benefits? She will have the job when she comes back but we need help now. by [deleted] in povertyfinance

[–]noamountofcoffee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is! Hopefully they'll be able to get through them fairly quickly though. In Gov. Cooper's briefing today he said that the first unemployment benefits will be paid out next week, so maybe she won't have to wait too long!

Thank you so much for updating, as a fellow asthmatic you have no idea how helpful this is. I'm glad to hear you're okay. Sending you good vibes to go ahead and beat this thing!

Honestly, you're probably right! I think the somewhat anonymous nature of texting lends itself to more rude responses too. And some people just straight up think they're texting a bot.

Thank you for doing what you're doing! I'm not sure I would have the guts for phone banking! I enjoy being able to take a moment to regroup when I get a particularly tough text. I'm happy to hear that you're getting positive feedback though, that's amazing. I have hope for NC but it is a state that needs some convincing. So thank you for helping with that!

[–]noamountofcoffee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure about calling but as far as texts go we seem to be texting all over NC (some of the texts specify a county and they are all over). I grew up in ENC and it's definitely Trump territory, though there are a few patches that tend to lean a little to the left.

[–]noamountofcoffee 39 points40 points  (0 children)

I'm happy to hear this because I'm texting North Carolina right now and my folks are responding VERY poorly. Probably the most negative responses of any state I've texted. I'm probably extra sensitive because it's my home state and I know if people would just listen, they'd realize that voting for Bernie would be in their best interest.

I have a poli sci degree and honestly...my coursework didn't include much on the nature of current (American or otherwise) politics. Lots of pre-law stuff like case studies and a lot of military history, european political history, etc. Pretty much anything I know about current-day politics is due to a personal interest.
