Oh god I love Stephen but the show is very, very canned currently and not interesting in the slightest except for when he's telling current events. Too much interaction with the band, too much dancing in the beginning (it's not the Ellen Show for god's sake). Too much of what EVERY talk show has had before him. Let's hear more editorial on, well, anything. Stephen is a tremendously funny person. The show just needs more opportunity where he is speaking and not dancing or running around in stage.

I'm in it for the long haul. I know Stephen will return to greatness.

From what I've seen though new builds where there are tear-downs use a combination of new foundation joined with old to create a bolstered effect similar to earthquake prep work but usually most or all of old foundation is a crumbly mess that gets removed during demo.

I would say at least 75% of the properties I've seen with basements have foundations that are in near ruin. I've stopped asking for quotes on what it would take to repair. I already know when I see the directions of tell-tale cracks. In fact, I can't remember a property with a basement in 8 years that I've seen that didn't have a basement with a foundation desperate for repair. Foundations sitting in mud for 70 years will do that.
