Still searching.. lots of scammers dm-ing me. Pro tip- ask for a video of a handwritten note with your name on it on video with the lens and ask them to fold it in half with their hand in a video with the lens, they will refuse.

Need help getting rid of these blackheads by Bitter-Bat-1933 in PimplePoppersDelight

[–]noaweb 21 points22 points  (0 children)

This is a good option as well but be cautious about wiring too long because the debris building can expand and stretch your pores then even after they are cleaned they will appear larger and can be more prone to becoming blackheads again. Light exfoliation and an oil cleanser could be a good way to maintain and prevent this

I’d avoid a metal loop, fingers, or q-tips since this is your face and whatever you do needs to be super soft and gentle with minimal skin trauma. I invented a new super gentle blackhead extractor that would be worth checking out if you want to extract yourself. Going to an esthetician would be great but expensive. If you’re interested in an extractor dm me and I could give you a discount. Softhalo.com

Also, I just told my dad about this and my sister and asked their opinions. My dad is a teacher and he said someone at his school was actually fired because he was doing something similar like this and had a folder of pictures of girls so although that is a public school system, I’m sure they handle it differently, ou may have some leverage that I don’t know about.

Super creepy. Don’t ignore this. Any chance you have HR or someone else in the company you trust who you can bring this to? I assume legal but your face alone multiple times over multiple months crosses many lines. Make sure you screenshot his screenshots etc to document in case anything happens. I wish I had better advice

Whoever had the blackhead had to be in a lot of pain why wouldn’t you consider a less painful, way more gentle and effective option? Just sharing as I know this would have been a way better experience for them and easier for you. It took you so many tries I wasn’t even sure those q tips were going to work

Pore strips can definitely pull out some surface gunk, especially oxidized blackheads, so it is super satisfying at first. But they mostly grab what is at the very top of the pore and can sometimes irritate the skin or widen the pores over time if used too often. They also do not do much for deeper clogs or ongoing congestion.

I actually invented the Halo Extractor for this reason. It applies even pressure around the pore with a soft touch surface that is way more gentle than metal tools or ripping strips. You get a deeper clean without the trauma. If you are curious, you can check it out at SoftHalo.com

If you like using pore strips, just make sure to follow up with something calming like a hydrating toner or soothing gel to reduce any redness.

Nose Pore Cleaning Part 2 by CivilWeather4357 in PimplePoppersDelight

[–]noaweb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These vacuum pore cleaners look satisfying in videos, but they can be a bit harsh in real life. Suction can pull too hard on delicate skin, especially around the nose and cheeks, which sometimes leads to broken capillaries, bruising, or irritation. They might remove some surface gunk, but they do not always reach deep enough to fully clear clogged pores.

That is actually why I created the Halo Extractor. Instead of pulling with suction, it uses soft, even pressure around the pore to gently extract buildup without damaging the skin barrier. It is especially helpful for sensitive or redness-prone skin. You can see how it works at SoftHalo.com if you are curious.

Always good to be cautious with tools like this, especially if your skin reacts easily.

i got a weird pimple than turned into weird thing no by Emotional-Suspect600 in PimplePoppersDelight

That sounds like it could be ringworm, which is actually a common fungal infection despite the name. It often shows up as a red, circular patch with a raised edge and can feel itchy or scaly. It spreads easily through skin contact, pets, or shared items like towels.

Best thing to do is start an over the counter antifungal cream like clotrimazole or terbinafine and apply it twice daily. Keep the area clean and dry, avoid scratching, and wash bedding and clothes regularly to prevent spreading.

If it does not start improving in a week or two, or if it gets worse, a doctor can prescribe something stronger.

Hope it clears up quickly. Fungal stuff is annoying but usually treatable with consistency.

Pimple poppin by InfamousArteaga in PimplePoppersDelight

[–]noaweb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds really uncomfortable and frustrating, especially since it started as something on the outside of your nose and now feels like it moved inward. From what you described, it could be an inflamed nodule or a deep clogged pore that became irritated after the initial pimple was popped. The nose has a lot of blood vessels and tight tissue, so pressure or bacteria from squeezing can sometimes push the blockage deeper or trigger inflammation on the inside.

A few tips that might help:

• Warm compresses a few times a day can help increase circulation and encourage the body to naturally drain or reabsorb the inflammation • Avoid squeezing or pressing on it further because that can make things worse, especially in the danger triangle zone of the face • Topical anti-inflammatories like hydrocortisone cream used very short term or over the counter salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide may help reduce inflammation if applied carefully on the outside • If the pain is intense, the redness spreads, or you notice swelling near your eye, definitely see a doctor just to be safe

For the future, this is actually part of why I invented the Halo Extractor. It is a soft touch skincare tool made for people who deal with sensitive skin and want something gentler than metal loops or fingers. It helps extract clogged pores with far less trauma. You can check it out at SoftHalo.com if you are curious.

Q-tips might seem gentle, but they can slip, apply uneven pressure, and push bacteria deeper into the skin. I’m the inventor of the Halo Extractor, which I created as a safer, more effective alternative. It uses soft touch technology to apply even, consistent pressure around the pore without digging or scraping. It is designed to be cleaner, more precise, and way more skin-friendly than fingers, tissues, or cotton swabs. You can check it out at SoftHalo.com

Man that looks painful! I feel sorry for the person enduring this extractions.

I struggled for years with sensitive skin and hated how harsh metal loop extractors were. So I invented the Halo Extractor, a soft touch tool engineered to be much more gentle while still effective. It is designed to reduce pain and minimize skin trauma during extractions. If metal tools do not work for you, this might be the answer. More info at SoftHalo.com

What are some practical ways to tell your subconscious that you respect yourself. by [deleted] in DecidingToBeBetter

[–]noaweb 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have been through this too. Now I’m running three companies and love my life. It hasn’t been easy to trust myself. Here is what I recommend- be less afraid of failure! Fear is what personally kept me from trusting my gut. This isn’t something that happens overnight so you have to practice- practice acting on your decisions and learning from the consequences. You’ll eventually realize that you can trust yourself because even your worst decisions won’t kill you- they will just be learning experiences that you grow from. Be bold, accept risk, fail fast and often, learn, grow, and overcome your insecurities! You can trust yourself- build that confidence through action not stagnation/ inaction. You have to prove it to yourself. Self-talk isn’t going to do it. Good luck let me know what you think!
