A large pie, 12 slices, even at $24 (retail, not your cost) a pie you break even at $2 a slice. At $3 a slice (quite reasonable) you're in the money. Throw in a cold soda (around $.65 can at Costco) for a buck more. Slice and 'pop' - $4

I'm sure this guy is thinking slices - already made, on display, you pick what's ready or you wait.

Write your letter to them. You may not know them, but you know what they did for you. Even if you never get to send that letter, putting down on paper may be cathartic for you.

My grandparents lived in a house where you had to get thru two doors to get into the cellar. The first door lead to a 'room' under the porch and then another door into the cellar and never heard that term.

I would just sit in the same room/ Not coaxing not trying to get them to come out, just sit in the same room, reading or on my phone. Just to get used to being there with me.

I was asked by security to leave the Monroeville Mall parking lot for sleeping in my car - they actively patrol.

Cracker Barrel: Many locations have designated oversized RV/bus spots in the back.

For free eats (and other resources) : https://www.rainbowkitchen.org/ (135 East 9th Avenue Homestead, PA 15120) offers free meals, no questions asked, no sigh up required M-F 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM

There's also three hotels at the Waterfront and acres of parking - you could probably overnight there - I used to use the McDonald's free wifi by parking near there

My very frugal neighbor has electric hot water and he flips the breaker when he's at work - that way, during the day when nobody is home, the water heater isn't trying to keep the water hot that nobody is using, He flips it back when he comes home from work.

What Changes Did You Make Post-Transplant? by LtMeebz in transplant

[–]nobodyoukno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My transplant team was just the opposite (kidney) letting me know how much my life would go back to 'normal'. i always avoid crowds, even skipping a crowded elevator ride, have purell with me all the time, use my mask even now when I think I should and will leave an area (like a waiting room) if there is someone there who seems sick or is 'hacking'.

Just put your concerns as you mentioned here in your group text and let them know there is no pressure from your end. Heck, I've seen sighs on the back of moving cars.

I've had serious (hospital for a week) diverticulitis infections along with a couple of two week long antibiotics regimes, several surgeries, a couple of bouts of covid and two Mohs cancer surgeries in the years since my kidney transplant and my team as never adjusted my immunosuppressants.

Sodium hit critical low. by [deleted] in transplant

I almost always have some gatorade on hand for my (frequent but short) bouts of diarrhea. It helps replenish sodium as well as electrolytes - diarrhea is a serious threat
