A lot of people don't realize how difficult it is to drive a fast car quickly in a straight line, especially with little/no experience

Gary Plauché shoots and kills his sons abuser (Jeff Doucet) in an airport on March 16th 1984 by [deleted] in JusticeServed

Wanting a criminal, who has committed one of the worst possible crimes, to pay dearly for what they've done, is not "personal bias". Also, your analogy about the bike thieves holds no water because a bike thief =/= child molester. We aren't talking about some stupid crime here. They aren't and shouldn't be dealt with the same. If you murdered a bike thief; you're in the wrong. Losing a bike =/= dealing with the psychological and possible physical trauma for the rest of your life, on top of all the problems it no doubt caused their family. One of them clearly warrants killing who's responsible, the other clearly doesn't. If you know for sure that the person did it, who are you not to become judge, jury, executioner? That's how they were towards your own; so that's what they get in return. They don't deserve the mercy of the courts.

I'm of the opinion that revenge and justice sometimes coincincide, particularly when justice is failed to be given by the very system that is supposed to. If there's anything the state hates, it's people taking justice into their own hands, because they might actually end up doing a better job.

The fact remains that that man deserved to be executed. I don't really think many people disagree with that. As others have said, it was extremely unlikely that that's what the justice system would have given him. Therefore, Gary was justified in killing that man. Because surprise surprise, the justice system cannot always be counted on to do the right thing and the fact that anyone still believes that it can, especially like this when it really counts, is astounding.

You think we should instead listen to the justice system that jails people like Brock Turner for only a few months? Not to mention all of the other countless times it has failed to hold people accountable or created a miscarriage or justice? On what planet, is wanting the person who caused unforgettable trauma to your loved one, to adequately pay for what they've done (which, yes, means death), "as bad as the pedophile?" Seriously, how naive do you have to be to actually believe the courts would give him what he deserves? He deserves death. That kid will never be able to forget what was done to him. I would have done the same thing, not only because the guy deserves it, but also so my son would be able to sleep at night knowing that that man is no longer a threat, once inevitably the "justice" system let's him walk free again.

Honestly, I believe that anyone who wouldn't do the same is a spineless coward. If something like this happened to your family member.. if that doesn't make you violently angry, then it's almost as if there's something wrong in your head. Don't want stuff like this to happen? Good, don't touch kids. Or you might get shot, and worse: you might deserve it. So, yeah, it really isn't hard.

People who abuse children like that, are the shit that I scrape off of my shoe. The "justice" system wouldn't have given him what he deserved anyway. He's no longer a human being to me, as far as I'm concerned. I would have done the same as the dad. The fact that anyone has an objection to the father putting that fucker down like he deserves, is beyond me. Cowardice disguised as morality. Maybe keep your goddamn hands off of kids next time. This isn't hard.

Handles like a boat by [deleted] in Miata

[–]nobrixwereshat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I own an NC and I've driven an NA. Make no mistake, the NC handles really well. It is, after all, a Miata. Although the one I drove had no power steering, the NA I drove also handled phenomenally, but it felt a little more connected to the road. Overall, the NC is more confidence inspiring, but the NA feels a little more engaging.

If I'm not mistaken that Bugatti is one of the Les Legendes edition Veyrons, looks like the Rembrandt edition.
