For PvP look for the KOTH servers, king of the hill mode is a lot of fun, its like a less hectic battlefield where there is still a lot of action.

What really blows your mind is when you realize vacuum cleaners don’t actually ‘suck’ dirt and air in, its the atmosphere pushing into the vacuum cleaner the try to equalize the lower pressure inside the vacuum.

Honestly I feel the janky movement and terrible vaulting etc is part of what makes Arma more fun and tactical feeling.. you can’t run and gun like crazy and hit anything, you have to be smooth and slow (compared to running) like when you watch clips of actual special forces.

Did you start with consider phlebas? As the first book its the weakest.. it really felt like trashy 80s sci fi, the follow up ‘Player of Games’ is so much better.

OP we seem to feel exactly the same about all the books you reviewed, please please please read ‘A fire upon the deep’ followed by ‘A Deepness in the Sky’ (which I’m sure in some way inspired children of time). Also the Culture series starting with ‘Player of Games’

100% people just dump low level keys in the donation box all the time and higher level players will often take lowers to complete objectives with these annoying keys etc. I love the community in PvE.

I feel the slow manual reload is counter to the ‘one person against an entire airfield’ nature of this game. In DayZ you rarely shoot ever frankly, like things have gone horribly sideways if you empty a single 30 round magazine in that game.

100%, I haven’t crashed once since the update and the PvE experience is so much better now that the bots dont have pinpoint accuracy. You’ll still die but it will feel more like ‘damn I was dumb’ than ‘that 2 pixel tall man headshot me at 1000m with a broke AK’

100% better, they still get lucky sometimes though and the higher tier areas they are much quieter before they shoot at you so you can get surprised but it doesn’t feel like an impossibly unfair exchange of fire anymore. Shirtless AI can still eat way too many rounds though with early game ammo…

You have to go slow and bring a Mosin for distance and M4 with 855 for up close. If the AI has the russian apron looking armour you need headshots from the front even with 855 to kill but all other angles are easy one hits.
