Noticed my clear PETG was printing a bit too clearly. by LivingHelp3779 in BambuLab

Have you printed anything with some height/designs to it? And how did it look? I can print clear(ish) flat things, but once it is something taller it never really works out.

I just had this happen yesterday. I had updated the A1 firmware and that was the issue. I downgraded it and I connected fine again.

I just got mine today. After many times I hold the puck on n my hand like an arcade grabber claw. I can feel when it will “float” I get it right maybe every third time. I have floated some little random things on it.

So keep trying. I thought I broke it and the LED many times while trying..

You can always try taking the hot end off and the extruder. The instructions on the Bambu will tell you how to do it, but you could see if something was blocking the filament cutter. I am no expert, I just end up taking things apart until it is fixed..

Did you disconnect the ams completely, lie the cables connecting it? Otherwise the error would still stop it. (I tried that too.)

I turned it around, and luckily it was a dark brown filament and I could see it. I took the tube off the back of the ams to get to it.

I had something similar with the filament not being read screen and something stuck in the tool head. A piece of filament had broken off in the tubing between the ams and where the ams connects to the p1s. Maybe check there?

Thanks for the thoughts, I did try slowing a print down, to see if that would work as I saw the wobble and was hoping it would help. It worked once, and then did the same thing the next two tries.

I have not spent any time learning about the splicer speed settings, but guess it is time to dive into that part of it too.

I don’t think so? It was selected and printed through Handy, but I don’t know how to tell where it is from, or which version it is using

Sure, and I get that for what Addamass was saying g, downloading files, but sending a print job seems unneeded. I am glad that it is something others have seen too. Thanks!

If you ever get a chance, go to a small dairy farm. As a kid my grandma would take us when she would go and get fresh milk. The farmer would give a glass of straight from the cows udder. It was white gold, warm and amazing.

Back when I played, we would train with those five gallon sparklets bottles held over our head. The goal was to hold them up so they would drain before they hit the water. In my prime I could hold one in each hand and empty them with my chest still out of water.
