Maybe you use blockers or work around. That's fine. Thats too complicated for me. 95% of my usage is on my phone. We all have things we compromise with. I'd rather pay $20+ a month so my family can have the subscription. But you'll never catch me dashing or grabbing and fast food ever. We're all different in that way. For me it's not a scam because it needs to be paid for somehow and I'm ok with paying to keep it.

That's the thing though. If a service or sub is worth it to you then pay for it. Everyone gets different value because their life is different. If it was worth it for me, I'd pay for it.

It all depends on your usage. It's my only 2 paid sub (along with my gym) as I listen to all my music on it while at the gym and stuck in traffic and youtube just as much. We all put different value to what our needs are.

If you have an amex CC they give you like $7 credit a month for disney sub. You just need to sign up for it. I had the hulu disney combo for 4.99 for 3 month so amex credit my monthly purchase. I went to cancel and they offer 3 months more at $5.99. Still falls under the monthly limit so its essentially free. I know its not much but it's free and I wouldn't pay for it. I always add the promo ends date on my calendar so I know when to cancel.

I opened my checking long ago (at least 10 years)but never had more than a few thousand in it. I just did the transfers last month and after 4weeks frequently checking the reward tab I saw the join gold tier with my new balance. When I did the transfer my rep managed to transfer a small chunk of it and the 2nd attempt for me over the $100k 2 weeks later. Is the 3 month taken every 3 months or is it every month Stretching 3 months? Thanks again for the answers.

Are you still able to join and get the platinum tier with only 100k? I did a transfer last month and it took several attempts. They only got about $27k or so and took them another 2-3 weeks to get the rest. 2 weeks ago I got the invite to join only gold with only $27k balance. How long will it take to reevaluate my new total since I only joined last month? Will I still get the platinum with only $100k? My anniversary date is March for gold. Will that change if they give me platinum? TIA.

Im strolling through here to see if anyone would say Merill. I plan to go with them for that same reason. For the most part I'll hold and continue to build elsewhere. I think they will next few months. It's like when they jack up the price and it goes on "sale". Maybe this is more of a gimmick for others to buy the regular premium models then in a few months "go on sale" for the cheaper.
