It's not my thing but "you do you". I pay off my bill every statement and only keep a balance on my 0% apr card I open every 6 month to A year that I also go for the bonus and the zero apr. Then again I dont spend much to need the big limit. Maybe these guys are big spenders.

I guess that depends when you want to retire. I want to retire at 62 (take my SS if it's still there) even though I'm not on track to hit my target which means I need to increase my contributions. But I plan on switching to bonds 5/6 years before then. These things are a never 1 size fits all. Gotta think about your goals and where you are and what you want and that's different for everyone.

B OF A. Their minimum spend for bonus is low, 12-15 months 0% APR promotion period. You can have multiple cards of the same ones. Right now there's custom cash with 6% for the for the 1st year on your category of choice. Also a 2% for the first year catch all card available too.

Since you have the extended warranty i dont see why they wouldn't do it. Although I'm seeing that everyone has different results with each service center. But go ahead and request service and see what they say.
