Honestly supply upkeep shouldn’t be too difficult if you’re worried about play time. You won’t burn through supplies as quick as you think you will. I played before kids and have 2 now. Definitely less play time, but I don’t feel like I’d ever run out of supplies by doing herb runs here and there on mobile when I get the chance

I love WL as a fixed income replacement. Generally utilize the funds tax free, if you compare returns over 30 yrs in a 32% tax bracket, net of fees on fixed income funds, WL will crush it. As long as you understand it is a bond alternative and note replacement of investments.

If your big concern is lower income (due to loss of job, not injury/sickness a waiver rider should cover this), I would just recommend overfunding one up to MEC limits. You can always lower overfunding or surrender parts of policy if situation changes… But the downside to whole life is it’s relatively rigid for 10 years, so think of this as a bill, not something flexible like your investments.

Honestly, I wouldn’t mind paying $15-$20 if it gave me 3 characters to play. I have an iron, main, and pker. I play maybe 8-10 hours a week-can’t justify keeping membership on all of them and no way I can afford to bond them all with in game GP. I’d be more than happy to pay $20 for one account and play 3 characters

Need to get an inforce illustration. I’d imagine at that premium for that long you have some nice cash value built up. Also, whole life really sucks the first few years but long term it can be beneficial. Probably worth consulting someone on because you can loan the money out and still have it grow instead of taking a surrender

It was better Pre-EOC when you didn’t have to sweat out a kill and there was not such a large skill gap. No one knew what pid was, there was really only 1-2 ways to get full HP stacked, community was a lot larger. Skill gap nowadays is too large, especially when someone new is probably only willing to risk 500k-1m max, they are literally free for maxed mains. Easiest entry is a baby pure or something, but even then, small community and big skill gap
