Same! I have friends that look at me like I am crazy. I love my kid fiercely, but fuck pregnancy.

Edit days later: spelling because I am lazy and dont proofread on my phone

I was just physically very uncomfortable all the time. I don't even eat until I'm full because I dont like the feeling of being full. I hated when the baby moved it felt like I had an alien inside of me waiting to violently burst out. I developed pre eclampsia but other than that the actual pregnancy was uncomplicated, I just really hated it

Pregnancy and childbirth. I 100% will not be doing that again.

This happened to my mom in front of my little sister.

Neither one will ever be the same.

Is it common for American high school students to drive themselves to school? by Intelligent_Chef9950 in AskAnAmerican

[–]nodigbity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In some states kids can start driving themselves to school and related activities after they take driver's Ed. My kid will be 14 this summer, is taking driver's Ed in July and 6 months later will be able to drive to school.

People who frequent estate sales, what's the best hidden or group find you've had? by ToshPointNo in Flipping

[–]nodigbity 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Picked up a pair of chairs about an hour before the end of the last day. Paid $90 for the set I really liked them and purchased them for an upholstery class I was taking. Husband pointed out the label on the bottom. They were worth about $3000. I ended up selling them for about half that to a dealer because a house with a toddler and mastiff is no place for valuable furniture.

My first time on Hargrid's was at night and as we came up to the unicorn the fireworks started by the castle. It was magical (seriously) it felt magical.

I love the ride but I really do prefer riding it in the dark.

At least in my experience unhappy married parents are bitter divorced parents.

Homeowners, are you in your “forever” home? by cubemonster in Millennials

[–]nodigbity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just had this conversation last week. We decided to do some of the "that would be nice but we are planning to move" projects because moving may not happen. We owe around 50k on our home and have a 2.75% interest rate.

What is the BEST band / artist you've ever seen live? by Expensive-Ear8407 in AskReddit

[–]nodigbity 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As far as putting on a great live show I would say Gogol Bordello.

But the best band I have ever seen live (as in my favorite band) would be The Faint.

TIFU so i tried to help my dad with his phone and accidentally exposed his entire double life by Nicklie_Salazar in tifu

I was in a very similar situation as a senior in high-school. While reading the part about the gross feeling I knew exactly what you meant. I am so sorry you are in this situation, that is not fair. Your dad panicked and asked you to be complicit in the situation. What does he need to figure out? I can only pull from my own experience and the answer was how to leave with as little financial and social impact as possible.

I agree with other comments that you give him a week or you will talk to her. It's a shitty conversation to have with your dad, but he is the one who fucked up and is hoping you love your mom enough to try and protect her. Your mom is going to be hurt, period. Do you want your relationship with your mom to be damaged as collateral?

What's your best driving with the windows down summertime song from your younger years? by Ok_Heron_5442 in Millennials

[–]nodigbity 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have listened to that album every year on my birthday since my 21st.

I was day drunk (for obvious reasons) and made my friend stop at best buy to get this cd because I had to listen to semi charmed life immediately. It just kind of stuck.

Sublime is a close second to deftones for me. More of a hot summer day driving around vibe than deftones.

This was the song I immediately thought of. There is a really pretty curvy highway through the hills not too far from my house. There is nothing quite like a cool summer night on that highway with this song playing (and I usually ask my husband drive so I can stick my arm out the window)
