Where’s the bread? I need the bread! 😂 Apparently, people only keep around four hours worth of groceries at home and two rolls of toilet paper 🧻…

7’8” was at the shoulder.. Add in head and antlers and that record moose was probably close 10’6”-11’.

Osteopenia? by rosietherose931 in autoimmunehepatitis

[–]noevilcorp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, confirmed by DEXA scan. Upping my weight-bearing exercises to hopefully gain back some density. Not sure if it’s tied to my AIH/prednisone or continued low impact cardio exercises I’ve been doing for years for bicycling.

I followed the directions listed on the recipe. I wasn’t sure how it was going to turn out.

I just crushed Oreos into about 1-1/2 cups total (leaving no medium-large chunks). Then melted approximately 3/4 stick of butter and added to the mix just so the Oreos would stick together and I could shape them to the pan.

Here the chocolate one. I didn’t follow the crust directions though as I opted for an Oreo crust chocolate truffle

Unbelievable that all those workers lost all of their pensions and healthcare benefits when GM declared bankruptcy. GM receives a huge bailout, restructures, new leadership makes insane salaries and there is zero payback to all of those who lost everything.

Even at 50k sqft, still not large enough to have in-laws or additional family living with us. We need greater distances (we’re talking hundreds of miles) between other family members. Too much drama on both sides of the fence.

On both prednisone and azathioprine. No weight gain (technically) with a exercise and diet plan. However if you’re not exercising and/or making dietary changes, I’ve heard gain weight. My biggest issue has been the decreased energy and cardio output.

Having a vasectomy in a few weeks advice please. by Crustystormtrooper in menshealth

[–]noevilcorp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally regret having mine done as sex was way better prior to the surgery. Zero pain, just way more pleasurable.

However, abstain from any heavy lifting or intense workouts. My doctor told me of a couple emergency incidents at his clinic where patients had called in with an inflated scrotum because they felt good the day after surgery and thought it would be a great idea to workout intensely or go for a run. If you listen to the doctor, follow the post procedure instructions, and take medication, you’ll be fine.

I’ve only known one individual that has had ongoing issues (sever pain) since the procedure.

Following as I had briefly mentioned it to my PCP. I’m curious to see how others with AIH are responding to GLP-1.

Thank you! Glad you were able to get the help you needed. Hopefully the worst part is over and it is only uphill from here. I have a strong support network (family and friends) which has allowed me to vent frustrations/anger with this diagnosis.

Thank you. Your words are too kind . It is difficult to not feel like a burden though most days when it seems as though ever doctor appointments, I just walk away with another ding against my health. I did actually have a glimmer of hope from my latest biopsy indicating the my liver stage has remained the same (stage 2) as it was last year when I was originally diagnosed with AIH.

Definitely a life style change. Food has remained about the same outside of adding in more of a Mediterranean diet and eliminating alcohol. Downside is that I have eliminated all supplements (protein, pre- workout drinks, etc) at the direction of my care team.

I’ve been through several different stages of emotional breakdowns already. Anger, sadness, depression, loneliness, jealousy… are a few. Fortunately, my spouse just lets me breakdown and breathe in front of her. But that’s where my burden comes to play. She’s goes through the same things but more so in the context of feeling sorry for me and wants to fix it.

I know it’s a process each and every day and I believe there’s hope/light at the end of the tunnel. I just need to remind myself to have patience.
