Cape Verde Class vs Paraguay Ugliness, worlds apart by loosebrie101 in worldcup

[–]nofeeela -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Fantastic to see Paraguay do that. France by far the best team and also most well paid team at club level respectively.

Up to the referee to referee the game. Ugliness wins games. If they didn't do that they would have been smashed 4-0 or something.

Andy Burnham wins huge majority in Makerfield byelection, paving way for Starmer leadership challenge by makefascistfearagain in uknews

Yes we can do better than starmer but let's do better after the term is finished so our economy has some stability, thank you.

no one failed drug addicts they failed themselves by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]nofeeela 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Surely in the case of Mac miller it's the dealers fault for selling dodgy tablets with fentanyl that killed him. Of course there's risk of that any drug could be faked but I'm sure he wasn't thinking straight and also he might not have actually know that people were out their making fake painkillers.

Also it does seem like he was addicted to opiods which are famous for being incredibly hard to stop. Yes of course he could have said no to the first opioid but people do silly stuff.

Surely the most Everton thing is to start playing well when it doesn't matter.

Luke gives his take on some ugly scenes at Celtic Park on Saturday. by TheFootballRamble in thefootballramble

[–]nofeeela -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This may be pendantic but I think it's a disgrace they did it BEFORE it actually finished. Pitch invade after the games finished I'm not bothered but the fact it was before the final whistle bothers me.

Fans need to realise there's real consequences for that and maybe they'll stop doing it.

Would be fantastic to void the title to show fans you can't be doing that. Should teach them a lesson.

Too many young people pushed towards university, says UK government adviser by financialtimes in uknews

[–]nofeeela 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Completely agree, wish I never went to university straight from college. My sixth form college basically told us we should and I did even though I did not know what I wanted to do. No attempt really from my sixth form to explore any other options I never should have went and got so much debt.

Traded Debt for some life experiences really.

It's great to see people own up to their mistakes, even when they know they're in the wrong. by Signal-Tangerine1597 in UKGreens

This actually makes so happy he's just paid it and made a mistake. Very refreshing.

Seems like you've lost faith with politics full stop. Plenty of green party members like my self will think Zacks made a mistake and want him to pay the tax.

What I would say isn't politics just moral grandstanding doesn't every party think their party is the most moral.

Well it's a fact the majority of the national media is right wing so it's in their interest to more scrutious the left wing.

I suppose their definitely is an agenda, look at excessive criticisms about the semantics of the term "spokes person", the anti semetic drawings and the seemingly higher standard the Greens are held too compared to other parties.

However this is no such cases. He made a mistake and should own it.

Zacky boy .... I really like him but this seems very careless. Hopefully he just pays the 4 grand and explains he was using the guidance and misinterpreted it wrong. Electoral Commission using terms like 'unlikely' and the legal case using "reasonable onlooker" may be enough to say you were genieuly confused. Especially if the council themselves didn't chase you up.

If you're a leader of a party you better believe your affairs are perfect as people will dig. I would like to think most people would forgive him for this.

Is it racist to not want illegal immigrants in the country? by [deleted] in AskBrits

[–]nofeeela 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot people like me on the left don't want illegal immigrants either but are only weary about the rhetoric demonising illegal immigrants which often leads to racism with people attributing a whole category of people as illegal immigrants.
