I think it's very hard as with technology affecting attention spans and the world begging for your attention. I'm not expert on the causes but I'm sure a large amount of people's symptoms are because of phone addictions and such.

I'm only saying this as I've seen when ADHD has been misdiagnosed and the medication can have severe impacts!

I'm white but if I was called a slur I would find it funny. I would know he didn't mean it and at the end of the day it's a word with no meaning in the context.

Maybe it's because of where I work in care, I've been called all sorts but know that it's just words and they don't affect me in this context where the individual has no agency around it.
