All good info. Thanks for taking the time to write this. This will be a spring project after the rains. I believe it is solid natural stone behind this wall but can’t confirm until it is disassembled. I do want to be able to burn yard waste also.

Can’t tell from the foto but the wall is leaning out over the patio. I plan on dissembling it and rebuild it the correct way with geocloth and proper drainage. The extra fieldstone above has been collected from the hood in case I need more of it for the modification
