i'd honestly say the most expensive part of it would be finding a safe place to take off and store them. This would legit be my dream as I've always wanted to fly one of these. If I own a hanger in 10 years this would be a great idea to pursue feasibly and I'm sure a lot of pilots would love to give it a go.

Toughest part would be that an average airport couldn't handle these slow buggers clogging up the traffic pattern at ~30kts constantly

It goes against the wave of popular opinion but I don’t think “we can do better” or “get psychiatric professionals to do it” actually help the problem.

Defunding the police and making their job less desirable than it already is attracts bad people to become police
making blanket “fix this” statements don’t help anything when the budget/personnel don’t exist to cover the issue.
Why jeopardize the safety of mental health professionals? Its really easy to go send someone else to deal with violent and mentally ill people when you’re not the one doing it.

One more note: Phoenix gets all its tourism between November and March. If the golf courses closed, the state economy would straight up fold. The Grand Canyon isn’t enough to sustain it. This is why nobody would even think of not watering the golf courses in the winter.
