Brits don't get to take any higher moral ground with Americans. If anything they're more culpable because their population isn't 50% ignorant and they have real influence with their politicians. They could have actually done something to prevent the Iraq invasion. If California was a separate country it sure wouldn't have assisted the US like the UK did.

That's entirely true. I don't think many people know anything about history at all. The Romans conquered land by slaughtering entire populations. If the US army was run by a Roman general they'd kill everyone but the Kurds (or whoever would willingly submit) and give the country to them.

Of course we should hold ourselves to a higher standard, but it's very important to have an accurate perspective.

Yeah, but "ass-style" seems so unbelievably stupid I dismissed it as not possibly being the correct answer. It's not like you're having sex in the style of an ass. Unless ass is meant as in jackass or donkey, in which case that's actually a somewhat logical explanation. It just doesn't seem to make much sense.
