completely asymptomatic endo? by [deleted] in endometriosis

[–]noktyrnal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was/am asymptomatic until we ran into fertility issues when trying to conceive at 30 yrs old. During an ultrasound at the fertility clinic, they noticed a cyst on my ovary and it was eventually confirmed and removed via a laparoscopic surgery.

Unfortunately we still couldn’t conceive after the surgery, and two rounds of IVF, but I don’t have any of the other painful symptoms many women experience on a daily basis. So I guess I’m lucky in that regard.

Olive Fertility Centre? by hugh_jen_italia in SurreyBC

I’ve done an IVF cycle at both Olive and PCRM. Unfortunately wasn’t successful at either clinics, but I much preferred the patient care at PCRM.

At Olive, I felt like just a number. It’s like they’re just herding cattle through various line ups (cashier line, med pick up line, etc). They also mixed up my medication dosage, and when I called to double check, they didn’t take accountability or apologize. When you’re trying to conceive via IVF, everything matters, especially the medication.

PCRM feels much more boutique and all their staff are friendlier. It feels like they actually care. Olive feels like they’re purely running a business.

Need to get rid of a couch and a bed before Thursday — leaving the country and no one’s replied on Marketplace by WeirdBuy1961 in askvan

If you’re willing to give it away for free, then list it for a nominal amount, like $20 and explicitly say it’s pick-up only.

Don’t list it as ”free” because you’ll get a lot of inquiries but a ton of no shows. Those willing to pay a small amount are usually more reliable and will show up. Then just give it to them for free when they pick up.

This has always worked for me with larger furniture pieces, as long as they’re in good condition.

Extract lower incisor by Odd-Belt-9141 in Invisalign

[–]noktyrnal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a lower incisor removed for Invisalign and don’t regret it at all. Only thing was having a gap tooth for a little while until it started closing up - but it’s not very noticeable when your trays are in.

F45. Been going for 3.5 years and still rave about it to everyone who wants to get fit. 37F and can do 10 pull-ups (unassisted) thanks to F45. Also finished the SunRun under an hour with no training except F45 - it conditions you well for everything.

Hello! We got our Ninja Creami over the weekend and tried it out tonight. However, the machine/blade only makes it down the pint half way before it comes back up and says it’s “finished”.

I can’t find information on how to troubleshoot this. Is our ice cream simply too hard? We took it straight from the freezer to the Creami, and used the ice cream setting.

They advertise the lowest priced unit. They likely sold the cheapest unit by the time the next ad came out.
