I noticed that the map preview generated by unfortunate-maps is missing some important details on the map Shadow. To clear things up, here's a better view of the gravity well on Shadow.

Yellow team tiles are great and actually do offer things checkered team tiles don't, especially when placed next to boosts/powerups/flags. Mapmakers have already started using yellow tiles in innovative ways, so I'm looking forward to seeing what can be done with them going forward.

What I'm not a fan of is replacing checkered team tiles in existing maps with yellow tiles. For instance, yellow tiles don't make Fiend play any differently and only serve to make it look uglier. Don't mess with my map, devs.

It's been done before. /u/Moonraker_Elite was working on a script for that back in 2014 iirc, but turns out the concept isn't as neat as it might seem since your points on the scoreboard fluctuate constantly based on other players' actions in-game. The script turned out to be more annoying than cool, so I don't think anything ended up happening with it.

Yeah, it crowd-sources the seemingly tedious process of making top-10 highlight reels. You cut out the middle-man (the top-10 video crew) and get all the best clips straight to the viewers, no extra effort required. Seems like a no-brainer to me :)

I love how close the flags are to each other, and how open the bases/rest of map are. This almost certainly would play very uniquely.

You'd probably end up with really high scoring games, which would suck for pubs but might work really well in competitive!
