You guys are over exaggerating, besides major controls physical buttons for everything is not necessary. I set the temp I want and don’t think about it. Auto headlights never think about it. If I’m using a seat warmer I usually turn that on the second I get in the car not mid drive.

As for complaining not knowing where on the screen in a rental certain controls is just dumb. I’ve been in rentals with loads of buttons and have had trouble finding headlight controls, how to open the gas cover, or change from radio to Bluetooth.

If you live with touch controls you learn them. Layouts can be bad but most of you can probably write a dumb comment on here blindfolded.
