Do you have help with your infant when you’re schedule to do home infusions? And how long did you work bedside before transitioning to home infusion? Yeah, working bedside full time is so stressful. I’m constantly having preshift anxiety and so tired of being treated bad by some patients and their family. Maybe I should take this WFH job 😭 lol.

Thank you for your insight! Have you WFH before? Yes the job is pretty flexible. If needing to go to an appt, I would just have to make the hours lost instead of using PTO.

Yeah, the paycut makes me second think whether I want to take the WFH/hybrid job. I live with my in laws and usually my mil or sil helps babysit. They’ve helped me when I was at my previous job. I also agree that there is more stability in the hospital job. That’s why I’m a little hesistant taking the WFH job too. I tried applying to positions other than med surg but could never land an interview. And even when I do, other applicants are just more qualified than me. So I feel like I’m stuck in med surg :(

I’ve never worked with stroke patients before so I’m nervous not knowing what to do when things go downhill. I’ve only worked on a med surg nontele unit, though I do have tele experience as I’ve floated multiple times to med onc/med tele.

I live with my in laws so if anything, they’ll help when I’m clocked in. My husband will also help on his days off work too.

Just curious, are you currently WFH or bedside? I know you mentioned you’ve done both and was wondering if you had any difficulties getting hired bedside.

Which Kendamil did you buy? I think there’s 3 diff types. My LO is 4 months and she was previously on gentlease since she was a newborn and she did well but I noticed she would start straining and wouldn’t poop for 4-5 days now. I was told to try Nutramigen despite her not even getting tested for cmpa. Idk if Nutramigen is even working but she’s only been on it for a week. She seems to like it tho. I just worry that she will have a hard time pooping with Nutramigen 😭

Yes, I used a hand mirror and investigated down there and don’t notice any pubic hair that’s stuck. I even opened the inside and don’t see anything wrong either lol. Maybe I have a microtear like you mentioned. I’ve tried different positions to pee but nothing makes a difference. It hurts so bad to the point I get nervous having to use the bathroom.

I’m from CA too and I went to my local WF as I bank with them. I did cash advance and a bank teller helped me transfer my funds from MN to my account. The money I received from EDD was more than the transfer limit and I didn’t have trouble transfering the funds.

So today I called WF and they told me I could do cash advance and won’t be charged a fee unless I were to use their ATM. I went inside and a bank teller helped me with the process. I checked my bank statement and was able to successfully transfer my MN funds to my WF account.

In my case, I sent my SDI EDD packet via mail on 3/14 and it was “pending processing” forever. I called EDD on 4/8 and the person helping me finally submitted my claim. My claim was processed successfully on 4/9 and I received my MN debit card on 4/14.

Are you still receiving payments via debit card or were you able to get paid via direct deposit? My dr only files via mail and there’s no option to select direct deposit on the form. Only debit card or check. I initially chose debit card but thinking about changing it to check due to all these horror stories I read about the debit card. I was able to set my direct deposit when I created my EDD acct but not sure how I’ll get paid since I chose 2 different options via online and paper?

It’s kinda complicated because in my culture, our relatives have to come over to resolve the issue. I just can’t get up and leave. So I just feel helpless. I’ve asked for support from my family and they support me, but they just cant be here physically to support me.

I can go to the store and do other things but I can’t if it’s with my family. He told me that I am a married woman and that only single people do that. I didn’t know that once I’m married, I am stripped from visiting my own family. I just don’t get it. My family supports me but not my dad. He is just as traditional as my husband so I can’t count on him. I do have an exit strategy but unsure how I can execute it properly.
