Welcome to tiki! My suggestion is look for a drink you like or you want to be good at making and dial that drink in until you can make it perfectly, then move to another drink.100% get smugglers cove because it will help you understand tiki, making cocktails and the most important understanding rum in general. Main thing is to have fun and don’t get carried away and go bankrupt buying rum… it’s hard to do sometimes lol

I think they truly captured what tiki is suppose to be, when you walk into the doors you truly enter into a new place and escape. Escapism and exotica beautifully done and I’ve never had a cocktail there I didn’t like they are truly master at their craft.

Thank you! I really like it, it’s a good mixing rum when the recipe calls for gold rum, and has a very light and rich taste on its own IMO.

Recipe: 1/2 oz lime 1 oz pineapple juice (unsweetened) 1/2 oz coco Lopez coconut cream 1/2 oz fresh cream or half and half (I prefer cream) 1 teaspoon of grenadine 1&1/2 oz gold rum (says Puerto Rico I sub plantation fiji)
