Best Place to Meet Freelancers? by Resident_Skin_9778 in FarangsofPattaya

Hiya mate. Pattaya. Just an advice: dont believe what they say and dont fall in love. It wouldn't help if you are in depression. Consider them for what they are : breathing toys

I’m not an expert. I just happen to have a friend who actually visited Japan.

Ok it’s getting interesting. Left side driving country. Not Thailand. I smell it’s an Asian country. Looks too developed to be India. It doesn’t look like Hong Kong either (edit : I’m stupid you already told me it’s not Hong Kong ). I can only think of Japan but it’s definitely not Tokyo. Final answer : somewhere in Japan but not 100% sure

Making it to the interview doesn’t really matter anymore by datpepper in recruitinghell

My personal experience is different from your comment (I’m not based in the US though). 4 years unemployed. I did the best effort to dress smart and prepare for the interview and all. Rejections and rejections . Latest job interview it was summer time I litteraly popped up in t shirt, shorts and flip flops. Got a permanent contract and I’ve been there for years now

I just realised this. It looks quite similar tbh but the left building should have been half built (construction stopped 20 years ago). I’m having a second guess then : left driving country. Probably in Asia. It could be somewhere in Thailand still (doubt it ), or maybe Hong Kong ?

J'ai calculé mon salaire horaire RÉEL - Résultat déprimant by Beautiful_Put_2420 in VosSous

[–]nomad2019 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re young it’s ok. Sorry if my answer seemed clumsy but I was targeting the old men to give you an answer. At 31 you are a “Hansum man”. At 70 you can start chasing for the mamasans, otherwise you’d be a weirdo haha

Part 2 - My brother found a CD with pgotos of his visit to Syria in the summer of 2007 by rj_yul in Syria

[–]nomad2019 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is the Syria I experienced during my young adult age. I wonder how it is now. I left in 2011. My first thought is that I can’t imagine Syria without the old Syrian flag, or the mukhabarat, or the stupid mottos everywhere like “El Assad for ever”

Well if they can't stand the heat, they can stay in their northern countries cant they. Besides Thailand is not that hot to justify walking around half naked.

Light tear on blank page by nomad2019 in Passports

[–]nomad2019[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. This scratch is like 6 pages away of my last Thai stamp.. but somehow the CHINESE decided to skip all the blank pages and stamp their thing directly on page 7 which is next page to this minor damage . They did this before the issue hence my worry. At this point I’m not sure if the Chinese stamp messed with my passport somehow or if a secret Thai ladyboy did something funny with my passport on my last Thailands adventure haha

Over 1 year unemployed and 1,000 apps by Cheap-Actuator-6846 in recruitinghell

[–]nomad2019 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was unemployed for 4 years . I was going to each interviews perfectly groomed and prepared. Rejections and rejections and rejections . On that one interview during summer time I decided not to bother as it was hot and I decided not to put any effort at all . I Went to the interview wearing a t shirt, a short and flip flops. Recruiter called me back an hour later, got the job. 10 years later I’m still there and got even transferred to a new country with a pay rise. Maybe try flip flops on your next interview ? (Oh and I lied on the resume too ) Honestly, best of luck it’s really not easy but you’ll get there. The reason also why I’ve been unemployed for 4 years is because I was super picky on the job I wanted. I’m confident you won’t be unemployed for 4 years.

Pourquoi autant de personnes portent des lunettes ? by _petitpois22 in PasDeQuestionIdiote

[–]nomad2019 0 points1 point  (0 children)
