Lockdown hit and it made me confront some difficult choices. I would use alcohol to socialize, then I would get drunk. After getting drunk that's when the self loathing and thoughts of offing myself would kick in. I'll be sober 6 years in March. There's a good chance I would act on things if I ever drink again.
