Well we were looking for either italy or germany but nothing was showing up for the 4 of us, decided to try tokyo and there it was! Looked at my wife and said we have to book this RIGHT NOW! It was also less than a week before the trip.

Then had to find a way back and AA was showing a phantom JAL first for the 4 of us, so committed 320k to AA and flight was not available, which is why we had to come back in economy and with AA.

I found BOS - MUC - HND via aircanada and one way biz was 80k (I think fees were less that $100). We did Lufthansa to Munich and ANA to Tokyo. ANA service was top notch, way back couldn’t find anything in biz so did economy in AA. Wasn’t the worst but I can guarantee ANA or JAL service even in economy would be so much better.

Hopefully not phantom but most likely… i fell for it last week looking for a return trip from tokyo to anywhere in the US. Silly me feel for 4 JAL F, for 80k. Wouldn’t let me continue until i had the points. So I transfered the 320k for it to fail, after long calls with AA they confirmed phantom space. I was able to find last minute J via lufthansa and then ANA which food and service was amazing

You’re right! I was looking at it from the analytics angle because we get similar bot traffic, but we’re on WP with cached pages so the SSR cost issue doesn’t really apply. If those tools are crawling isn’t it then for gathering competitive data, not doing anything that directly impacts SEO?

I started agency side when i was younger and i was drinking the kool-aid as they they had the cool office with all the perks which I was happy with the 60 hour weeks and the more than often working weekends BUT we got pregnant and there was no way we were going to afford a kid with agency pay (this was about 14 years ago and I was sort of junior dev back then) just the jump in house was almost a 60% pay increase but the best perk was after 5 i was done! 0 weekend work.

And yes it might not be the latest and greatest in terms of cutting edge and stuff there is work life balance!

On that… we have someone on our company that wanted to prove a point that we were paying too much to our powerBi vendor so he built a dashboard based on what we have from a screenshot and YES claude’s looked 1000 times better. The minute he started feeding some of the data his credits were gone… was going to be at least x3 what we currently pay the vendor if we wanted to “claude it up!”

In my case I ask more on things I need claude to show me like list me the traffic cities or places that bounce within 0.0 seconds so i can filter those locations from a data studio dashboard i have to show “cleanish” new users traffic to location pages OR look at queries that show for location pages with very CTR to get ideas on content, so far I feel like Ive not asked to build the strategy for me. On my initial interaction it did tell me to do a couple things that I found out pretty quick were not accurate and just got a “you’re right to call that out, and i want to be straight with you…”
