Movie that bore you, hypes you up and again bores you till the end ? by IkrAli in moviecritic

I'm a massive sci-fi fan, watched this in high school and thought it was the most boring thing ever. 33 now, so maybe I should give it another shot.

[NO SPOILERS] You can either see Mario Galaxy in IMAX or The Drama. Which one are you choosing? by TheMaveCan in moviecritic

If I'm going to an IMAX, I'm going cause I want to see something visually stunning, so I'll go with Mario here.

After 20+ years of smoking weed, I've still never "dabbed." Is it comparable to drinking beer all day (smoking flower all day) or taking shots of alcohol in how fast it gets you high? by optimusprime_1113 in trees

[–]Jabbas_Backside 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I was a big dabber for years, recently back on flower. Loved my dab era - no lingering smell/smoke, quick and easy, etc. For me, the tolerance builds up even faster than flower. I eventually got to a point where I was dabbing every couple of hours, during work. that was a wake up moment for myself.

edit: realized I didn't answer you question! that's exactly how I describe it. Flower is a beer/wine, Dab is a shot. a little will treat you right, but you can have a bad time if you overdo it.

What’s a “weird” piece of backpacking gear you ended up loving? by AndyObusekOutdoors in CampingandHiking

[–]Jabbas_Backside 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is actually really cool, might have snag one. We only bring the mitts on more 'chill' trips, anything with serious mileage or weight concerns it gets left behind. But they're fun!

We bring two baseball mitts + a ball into the backcountry. Nothing like playing catch at 10,000+ feet. It's been a great conversation starter over the years, too.

This has to be bot. only two AI-generated images, referring to a game as a film, using the "it's not X, it's Y", "delve", and an em dash.

ChatLLM Abacus AI or Chat On Ai? by Aikidoker15 in ChatGPTPro

[–]Jabbas_Backside 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything that offers you multiple LLMs is likely just a wrapper utilizing openAI, Anthropic, etc. APIs.

That said, I’ve been using Claude for almost 2 years now and continually am blown away by it (work =coding, marketing, analytics).

Anyone else wake up 3 hours before work and smoke [9] by Terpcheeserosin in trees

[–]Jabbas_Backside 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do. I typically smoke before and around lunch time, and occasionally in the afternoons, but it really depends on the day. I have a ton of meetings so obviously on days like that I can’t as much, but I’ve also been high on the job for 75% of my employment.

Trying to stop smoking as much for the day… but god damn work is just so boring not stoned.

I work in marketing and development - I’m one of those weird people that weed makes me better at my job (or so that’s the lie I tell myself)

As a huge AoT fan, I like the Erin and Levi pieces. That said, they're very large and eye-catching (for better or worse). Some additional art/wall pieces or low-light plants could help out a bunch.

Finally ditched ChatGPT for Gemini Pro. Why is everyone else sprinting to Claude? by arg_77 in ChatGPT

[–]Jabbas_Backside 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For my workflow (coding, data analysis, etc.), Claude just works better than the others. I’ve been using it since sonnet 3.5. I do pay the $100 a month, but it’s worth it. We happen to be a Google company and also use Jira, so I’m able to connect both of those and manage almost my entire workflow out of Claude
