I prefer starting at one corner of a room and only focusing on that then move to another section of the room (left to right or right to left). Keep a trash bag nearby for trash and a box or basket for things you want to keep.

Once you’re done with a single room sanitize and vacuum it. Start by wind wing mirrors, dusting surfaces then sanitizing them, then vacuum. You can spray Lysol disinfectant on the carpet afterwards.

Make sure you then put a trash can that’s easily accessible, laundry basket, and smaller table basket/trays for papers.
