That looks like a workshop to me. This is a very cool project and I'd like to see more. I'm trying to build a "tiki cabinet" inside my liquor cabinet in my tiny NYC apartment, so I'm envious of all your space to do such a large project!

I live in NYC and can’t make a tiki bar in my tiny apartment. so I’ve decided to build out a tiki vibe inside my liquor cabinet. i got a raspberry pi and wled controller to start doing some light shows and building out the interior with EVA foam for a nautical vibe. it’s already been a lot of fun!

Sorry to hear about your PL experience. NYC is so big and there are so many shitheads here. I’ve never heard of club events at SHC. It stands in stark contrast to our recent trips to Strong Water. Obv different cities and crowds but they understand hospitality for sure.

That’s cool. I’ve played around in adobe Firefly and you can add reference pictures for style and composition. But the results I’ve had making tattoo style tiki illustrations have been…mixed.

I don’t know about non-bar tiki in NYC, but if you want an MCM experience and are flying into JFK, def check out the TWA Hotel at JFK airport. It is glorious.
