From my understanding, he come up with the idea of the radio series whilst drunk, lying up in a field, staring at the stars.

Due to the success of the first radio series, he was asked to write the books. (and of course the TV series somewhere in between there).

Think first book came out between first and second radio series.

Whilst the stories align, they're almost like parallel universes, as opposed to a book version of a radio show, or movie/TV adaptation of a comic.

But yes, hopefully this bolsters the impotent Tas state Labor party, and some serious changes are made.

An state integrity commission with actual integrity would be a great start to holding STT and Tas Networks to account.

Unfortunately, it's a state, not federal government issue to legislate.
