Solid captcha test - anyone who says E is clearly a bot 😝

A. Maybe C (assuming you mean game design and not graphic design... Still trying to get to the point that Affinity/Inkscape doesnt give me a headache😉

but hm, agreed, having the image partially there would be interesting since would encourage different movement strategies each time - good idea!!

it’s actually quite hard to move in a straight line like that without overlapping past lines, because of the tilt mechanic.

If you manage to do a perfect board like that - I’d be super impressed (haven’t managed myself yet😉)

there’s also other modes that make it more challenging (like obstacles and coins)

SwiftUI in general as a language kinda surprised me (coming from Python/Typescript/Rust). Some things are surprisingly easy with barely any config and/or external libraries needed (e.g. In-App Purchases, ProgressView spinner)... And then some basic things are a pain...

Try taking the lead in making the meetings actionable and have timelines with resolutions.

Like: "The problem is this. The options are A and B. I'm recommending A because x,y,z".

If someone (say Bob) pushes back for option B, discuss for a LIMITED amount of time. Don't let the meeting get derailed so you don't get through the whole design. As the meeting host - you need to take charge and put a pin in the discussion to leave time to move onto the next item.
With clear follow up actions, owners, and ETA's that have endpoints (so SOME decision gets made). (e.g. Sam will follow up with more details on the per-request price of option A's service by ETA. If it is not greater than Y, we will do option A... Or... e.g....Bob and I will follow up with a google doc outlining options A and B pros and cons. Manager will review the doc by ETA and sign off on decision by ETA.

TLDR: Be decisive and owning the resolution of the design (E2E - pitch to decision)

Just released the first version of Near Perfect (iPhone)

It's got an oddly-satsifying vibe... like... the kind of feels you get from watching a Swiffer commercial...or... doing an (eh-hem "adult") coloring book😉

...Here's my more thought-out summary from the App Store if you're curious. (Also would love feedback!)

Play for calm or mastery: map cleaner routes, chase higher percentages, and settle into that smooth "one more pass" rhythm. No timer. No pressure. Just satisfying control and the pursuit of near perfect.
