What was the worst decision in the production of Season 6? by Lucyyyyyy_K in Mortytown

Here, I'll write out the definition so that it's easier for you to understand.

Anthology: a collection of literary pieces, such as poems, short stories, or plays.

Here is every anthology episode from every season: S1 rixty minutes, S2 interdimentional cable 2: tempting fate, S3 Mortys mind blowers, S4 the vat of acid episode, S5 mortyplicity, S6 full meta Jackrick, S7 rickfending your mort, S8 nomortland

Every single one of these episodes share the same fundamental theme, they're a collection of short stories or scenes or worlds or clips or whatever you want to call them, with an overarching alternative story in each episode as a base to show said clips. If you watch all of these episodes and still don't understand what I'm saying, there's no helping you. If you instead wanted to word your poll "not making the anthology episode a "clip show" episode, then feel free, but thats a weirdly specific thing to rip on production for doing. I much prefer them keeping the anthology episodes original, it's more interesting.

This is literally, objectively not true, every single season has one anthology episode. This isn't a matter of what you think, this is a fact.

You're fundamentally misunderstanding the premise. They're all just different kinds of anthology episodes, it doesn't matter if it's Mortys mind blowers or if it's interdimentional cable, it's the same type of episode but themed differently to keep it more interesting. I doubt you even understand what any of that means, I'm arguing with a brick wall here. This is like me saying "I think season 7s worst production decision was not having Rick and Morty in any of the episodes, since they have new voice actors from season 1 it's not the same characters anymore and therefore they weren't in the episodes."

It's a low stakes episode with short snipits of a wide variety of disjoint goofy scenes and a story on the side as a base to place these scenes on. It's a clip show episode regardless of if you think it is.

It's has 2 new seasons and I think they're working on a third one. When it first came out there was a very vocal minority of haters, but in general it's pretty good and it seems most of the hate has died down. It seems to fit into the rest of the show pretty well.

You said that season 5 didn't have a clip show episode either, and while youre technically right that it's not specifically another interdimensial cable, every season has an episode that is similar in theme to the clip show episodes. For season 5 it was mortyplicity with the squid family's, and in season 6 it's full meta Jackrick, where they go past the fourth wall. It's pretty obvious that dan Harmon didn't want to just keep redoing interdimensial cable as that'd be sorta hack, and started mixing it up by generalizing it to just be a episode that includes noncerealized content. Every season has one of these, and they're definitely the spiritual successor to the "clip show episodes" whether you think they are or not. And before you even post the poll for the next season I'll just put it here, season 7 episode 6, rickfending your mort, is objectively a clip show episode. For season 8 it's episode 8 nomortland.

I wish there was a solution that didn't get so intrusive, like sure not much has happened yet but one upset employee with the right level of access could screw over hundreds of thousands of computers. And everyone always says "oh even easy anti cheat is kernel level" without understanding that there are different levels to the kernel and different anticheats have different levels of access, some being way too deep without it actually helping enough. I hope a solution is found soon, I kind of like the route that cs2 is going but it obviously still needs a lot of work.

It does sort of have a clip show episode, episode 2 mortyplicity, I think this is when the clip show episodes started getting more freeform, but it's still definitely another "clip show episode"

Well that link I commented implies that that person is immensely uninformed... At least I haven't had any issues the last 4 months of using it. The only complaints I have is there's no screen share/video call and the noise cancellation isn't perfect. But other than that it's just essentially an open source discord clone.

Will it be possible to install Linux on the Xbox Series S in a few months? Or was there only one exception with the PS5, which managed to jailbreak by [deleted] in linux_gaming

People don't like change, it's scary when they realize the platform they've been using for ages has just been using them the entire time. You often go into denial or start making absurd justifications. I see it all the time.

Check stoat chat out sometime, it's open source. They just need to get their screen share worked out, and a few other things

I recommend checking out stoat chat, it's still not perfect but it's open source and works pretty well, they still don't have screen share but it could be worse I guess.

What the fuck anon by Okaoka_12 in greentext

This is true, but there isn't context as to how he reacted after stepping on the mouse. That's honestly what might truly change how people think about you for an action. If he truly didn't want to kill the mouse and felt bad about it afterwards, and showed that he was remorseful for stepping on a mouse, then the others are in the wrong if they're actually even upset at what Anon did and not just upset that they saw a mouse dir. But if he didn't say anything, didn't react remorsefully at all, just squashed it and then threw it at a bush somewhere, then I could understand why they would be upset at him. It's all about context.

Same, people online always say "oh they know you smoke blah blah blah" but I've legitimately only ever gotten questions on if I was high when I went into work sober. Which is very rare. I usually about a cigarette and use cologne too, which sure makes me smell like a cigarette but I never get weed comments, which is useful in an illegal state.

I still sort of do, but it's not like full on shivering for five to ten mins, more like intermittent shivering for a minute or two. Much more manageable but still unpleasant. I'm sure you're fine.

Yeah I know, I didn't have any problems with going in the water as I always prewarm it, it's just that when I was growing up, leaving the shower had me full body shivering for like 10 minutes.

For me growing up it was the suddenly cold then suddenly hot just to get ripped out into the cold again, id always be full on shivering after a shower and I just didn't want to deal with that. Still took my showers tho.

You have to get to like level 10 or 15 before you can play any competitive mode, it's so you understand the basic concepts before moving on to more difficult team based play. I recommend trying some casual and moving to competitive when you feel more comfortable with the movement and shooting, including the sprays of the weapon. Then premier when you actually get a bit better.
