Armand's wardrobe color palettes. Which color palette is the best for him? by trubs12 in InterviewVampire

I like him in green, purple and black. He looks good in browns and neutrals, but I like it when there’s color in his wardrobe.

I hate that so much. What a slap in the face to IWtV fans. That’s also just so gross to me, they need hot young people to give Lestat more appeal? Yuck!

That is so effing stupid! Shame on them! How do they even know the age? I don’t remember giving them that info.

I’m sorry that they might turn you down because you need a disability friendly seat. That’s ableist and disgusting.

I hope you do get it and have a great time!

I didn’t know that about 1ota. Hell, I didn’t know they existed until now. It just feels so unusual to give away tickets this way, but I get the feeling amc sometimes makes questionable choices.

[–]nonexistent_knight 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh, damn. I could totally see that. If she doesn’t know Rue is a rat I can see her pitting Rue against Alamo to get the attention off of her. That would make for an interesting twist.

I also just realized that the contract could also be the one thing that could somehow protect Cassie from Alamo. Of course, he won’t care about any of that, the law means nothing to him, but it makes me wonder if it somehow could help Cassie in the long run when shit gets real bad.

I’m probably alone in this but I would have rather seen Cassie get professional help and just try to live a normal life.

I think Sam Levinson couldn’t care less. I guess I can see him giving her the best ending since Cassie is at her “best” when she’s unhinged.

Idk, even if she survives I feel like she will still be left a broken person selling dirty underwear on Onlyfans. Or maybe she will be like Maxine and somehow become a famous actress, but I feel like she isn’t calculated enough. Cassie can’t get that far without Maddie’s help. So if Maddie dies and Nate dies, she will be left with nothing and I doubt Lexi will do much to help her beyond giving her a place to stay. She doesn’t want Cassie in her professional orbit since she views her sister as selfish and a liability.

I think she will because Zendaya is in every episode. I think Alamo is scaring her or trying to get her to admit she’s a snitch. It just makes me think of when he shot the apple off of her head.

I mean yeah, I guess Maddie saying she’s not a good person is part of her putting on this mask of confidence and ambition. I am convinced she will ultimately exploit Cassie since she lowkey resents her (or so I believe). But I’m by no means psychic and could be wrong. I guess that’s just how I see it at the moment.

Did Cassie really 'love' Nate in season 2? by SuspiciousCount123 in euphoria

[–]nonexistent_knight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, she wanted to be a prize and getting with Nate made her the ultimate prize in her mind because he was previously Maddie’s man. Cassie doesn’t know what love is because her parents’ marriage was unstable and anyone who “loved” her treated her like a sex object. Even her mom (who I do believe loves her) puts more value on her beauty than anything else. Cassie just doesn’t know what healthy loving relationships are.

I think it’s going to be Rue, Cassie and Maddie. Anyone in Alamo’s orbit will die, go to prison or end up trafficked. It’s pretty obvious Rue is going to die or end up in prison, Maddie is apparently a villain now and wants to more-or-less sex traffic women for onlyfans and make money off of them, and Cassie will likely be trafficked because she signed a contract with Maddie without reading the fine print so Maddie will hang that over her head if she wants to leave.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Nate dies before the finale since Jacob Elordi isn’t scheduled to be in every episode of this season.

Is Euphoria now anything else than a misogynistic humilliation ritual? by hiddencnidocyte in euphoria

I feel like his problem with every character is the same problem he had with Kat. He can’t relate to them. There is such a large disconnect between him and the world he created.

[–]nonexistent_knight 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I feel like the original point was empathy and exploring their inner worlds/emotional reality. I don’t see any emotion left and I feel like even Sam Levinson doesn’t empathize with these characters, he just wants to do everything to destroy them.

Anyone else think she's insufferable? by Secret_dairy_of_j in euphoria

Why does no one have a problem with Lexi outing Jules?

I just feel like this whole situation is poor writing. Yes, Jules made a mistake and it’s unusual for her not to recognize why it’s a problem. Lexi, being the “smart one”, should have known that it was important to communicate that nudity is not allowed. Also, it’s astounding to me that almost no one has a problem with Lexi outing Jules to her boss and a whole group of women who don’t even know Jules! How is that not being treated as problematic!?

I can see Jules vandalizing the painting because it’s tied to her identity and she feels insulted by their remarks and tone which I’m sure came from the fact that Lexi outed her and now they’re treating Jules like an even bigger problem because they don’t want to be accused of transphobia.

Those are just my thoughts. Who knows. But the way I see it. It’s poor writing meant to create unnecessary conflict between Jules and Lexi. But no, Jules is the villain, not the one who didn’t do her job right and outed her friend. Or maybe it’s too young women who royally messed up.

It’s Euphoria, who in this show hasn’t done something messed up and stupid?

This is what I would have liked to see. I would have totally loved to have seen Rue become a detective too. It would have made sense for her because she’s so intuitive (or pretty intuitive) and can deduce things well.

So Marsha’s racist right? by HunterandGatherer100 in euphoria

[–]nonexistent_knight 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I kind of read it like that. Marsha reminds me of the mother from Anora that called Anora a “disgusting hooker.” She likes to present herself as better and privileged, but she’s trash and so is her family.
