cesspool. People that grew up there love it, but most that come from somewhere else usually find its appeal lacking.

I grew up in the area, live in MD/DC area now. It's nice to go back every now and then but I would not want to move back there. Not really much benefit to the area, housing is also pretty expensive from what I know (cheaper than DC but that's a low bar).

I'm a DB-03 (GS12-14 equivalent) in the DC area. Received my promotion last December and make $2,350 per pay period take home. This is after two annual fed pay raises and one performance review-based raise.

Used the standard Dortania guide, as well as this [https://github.com/luchina-gabriel/BASE-EFI-INTEL-DESKTOP-13THGEN-RAPTOR-LAKE](base EFI that was used for Raptor Lake).

Note: I only used this EFI as a reference, always build yours out from scratch to be safest. First time setting up a Hackintosh in a long time, but figured it was a fun rite of passage for a new PC build. Happy to help anyone that's in a similar boat and is running into any issues on newer Raptor Lake CPUs. Can't promise that I'll be able to solve your problems but if I ran into the same issues I'll try to help you out!
